Description: Forprojektet søger at opbygge et stærkt projektkonsortium, som skal danne basis for et nye am-bitiøst ITS-baseret projekt i Greater Copenhagen til at fremme intelligent mobilitet. Intelligent mobilitet skal bidrage til øget tilgængelighed, CO2-reduktioner, renere luft, et lavere energiforbrug, en sikker og en mere "liveable" by. Der er i dag allerede etableret forskellige fragmenterede ITS-systemer indenfor det geografiske område Greater Copen-hagen, men systemerne dækker kun en beskeden del af transportsystemet og leverer kun en begrænset del af den service, regulering og styring af trafikken, som trafikanterne og de rejsende potentielt kunne drage nytte af. Forprojektet vil kortlægge mulighederne for hvordan intelligent mobilitet, gennem brugen af holistiske ITS-løsninger, bedst muligt kan realiseres, skaleres og gøres interoperable gennem et transnationalt samarbejde. Det vil ske med udgangspunkt i eksisterende living labs/pilot- og demonstrationsprojekter og der vil gennem workshopafholdelse og bilaterale møder blive dannet et stærkt projektkonsortium, som vil kunne løfte opgaven med at fremme og demonstrere intelligent mobilitet i regionen.
