Description (EN): deepening cross-border cooperation between Hohnstein and Lower Poustevna for the effective fight against floods on the Luční potok — Sebnitz waterways and better actionability in the event of railway accidents and forest fires along the Bad Schandau — Rumburk railway line.

Vertiefung der grenzübergreifenden Kooperation zwischen den Städten Hohnstein und Dolní Poustevna für eine effektive Hochwasserbekämpfung im Gebiet des Flusses Luční potok – Sebnitz und eine verbesserte Einsatzfähigkeit bei Bahnunfällen und Waldbränden auf der Eisenbahnstrecke Bad Schandau – Rumburk.

Description (CS): prohloubení přeshraniční spolupráce měst Hohnstein a Dolní Poustevna pro efektivní boj proti povodním na vodních tocích Luční potok – Sebnitz a lepší akceschopnost v případě železničních neštěstí a lesních požárů podél železniční tratě Bad Schandau – Rumburk.

Achievements (EN):

The project enabled a more effective cooperation between the fire brigades of Hohn-stein and Dolní Poustevna. The background was the constant risk of flooding in the Luční potok/Sebnitz region and accidents on the Bad Schandau-Rumburk railway. The core of the project was therefore, on the one hand, the further training of the forces, the transfer of knowledge and experience between the teams and, last but not least, the establishment of a common operational concept. Joint actions by fire brigades, including operational exercises and language courses, should provide the basis for this. The acquisition of new special technology for flood protection and the refurbishment/construction of fire stations should also be used to improve the impact capability. Project results: Investment measures: New construction of the fire station in Hohnstein-Goßdorf. Reconstruction of the fire department store in Dolní Poustevna. Purchase of a service car IVECO Daily 4x4 (Hohnstein-Goßdorf). Procurement of flood control equipment, lighting materials, etc. Purchase of a fire truck and an emergency vehicle Ford Ranger (Doní Poustevna). Further education. Driving safety training of both teams. several joint trainings and exercises. Other actions. many joint ventures for getting to know each other, learning languages and enthusiasm for the profession of new generations. Publication: Concept of cooperation between the cities of Dolní Poustevna and Hohnstein in the field of the management of natural disasters and other extraordinary events. Achievements (DE):

Das Projekt ermöglichte eine effektivere Zusammenarbeit der Feuerwehren von Hohn-stein und Dolní Poustevna. Hintergrund war das ständige Risiko durch Hochwässer in der Region Luční potok/Sebnitz und Unfälle auf der Eisenbahnstrecke Bad Schandau-Rumburk. Kern des Projektes waren deshalb zum einen die Weiterbildung der Kräfte, der Wissens- und Erfahrungstransfer zwischen den Mannschaften und nicht zuletzt die Aufstellung einer gemeinsamen Einsatzkonzepti-on. Gemeinsame Aktionen der Feuerwehren, inbegriffen Einsatzübungen und Sprachkurse, sollten die Basis dafür schaffen. Für die Verbesserung der Schlagfertigkeit sollten auch der Erwerb neuer Spezialtechnik für den Hochwasserschutz und die Sanierung/ ein Neubau der Feuerwachen dienen. Projektergebnisse: Investive Maßnahmen: Neubau der Feuerwache in Hohnstein-Goßdorf. Rekonstruktion des Feuerwehrgerätehauses in Dolní Poustevna. Kauf eines Einsatzwagens IVECO Daily 4x4 (Hohnstein-Goßdorf). Beschaffung von Hochwasserbekämpfungsausrüstung, Beleuchtungsmaterialien u.v.m. Kauf eines Löschfahrzeuges sowie eines Einsatzwagens Ford Ranger (Doní Poustevna). Weiterbildungen. Fahrsicherheitstraining beider Teams. mehrere gemeinsame Schulungen und Übungen. Weitere Aktionen. viele gemeinsame Unternehmungen zum Kennenlernen, zum gegenseitigen Spracherwerb und Begeisterung neuer Generationen für den Beruf. Publikation: Konzept zur Zusammenarbeit der Städte Dolní Poustevna und Hohnstein im Bereich der Bewältigung von Naturkatastrophen und anderen außerordentlichen Ereignissen.
