Целта на проектот е зголемување на јавната свест за заштита на животната средина и природните ресурси во преку-граничниот регион преку искористување на органскиот отпад од домаќинствата за да се создаде органско ѓубриво – компост. Со имплементација на проектот ќе се изработи промотивно видео со кое ќе се објасни и промовира концептот на компостирање (упатство за користење на контејнерите за компостирање и придобивките за домаќинствата). Видео материјалот снимен за време на подготовката на промотивното видео ќе се користи за да се произведе кратко соопштение на ТВ со кое ќе се повикаат домаќинствата од регионот кои се заинтересирани да аплицираат и да добијат компостери кои ќе бидат набавени со овој проект. Во рамките на проектот ќе се изработат и брошури кои ќе ги добие секој граѓанин кој ќе добие компостер, како и лицата кои ќе присуствуваат на проектните настани. Ќе се спроведат инфо денови каде што граѓаните кои ќе ги добијат компостерите i ќе бидат обучени за нивна употреба. Студиите што ќе се изработат во рамките на проектот ќе обезбедат информации за потенцијалите за компостирање во целиот преку-граничен регион. Во целиот тек на имплементација на проектот општините од двата региони ќе бидат инволвирани и ќе бидат дел од процесите на обука, информирање за бенефитите од компостирање и поделба на компостерите помеѓу граѓаните. Овој проект се стреми да покаже дека зачувувањето на животната средина е еден од основните приоритети на регионот, искористување на органскиот отпад на начин со кој не само што ќе се намали загадувањето, туку ќе се подобри и квалитетот на земјата преку произведениот органски компост. Подигањето на јавната свест и примерот кој треба да се даде на граѓаните од регионот е основниот бенефит од овој проект.

Целта на проекта е да повиши обществената информираност за опазването на околната среда и природните ресурси, преработвайки органичните отпадъци в органична тор/компост в трансграничния регион. В периода на изпълнение на проекта ще бъде създаден рекламен клип/видео – демонстрирайки концепцията за компостиране (чрез използването на контейнерите за компостиране и ползата им за домакинствата) видеото също така ще послужи и за популяризирането на проекта. Не обработеното видео заснетото по време на продукцията ще бъде използвано за изработването и на кратко телевизионно съобщение, за да се предизвика интерес у заинтересованите домакинствата за да имат възможност да получат и използват контейнери за компостиране, които ще бъдат доставят по проекта. В рамките на проекта ще бъде подготвена и отпечатена брошура за всеки гражданин който ще получи контейнер за компостиране, брошурата ще бъде предоставена и на всички присъстващите на събитията по проекта. По време на информационата кампания ще бъдат предоставени самите компостери на участниците в проекта, съшо така ще бъде направено обучение за използването им. Проучванията, които ще бъдат изготвени в рамките на настоящия проект ще предоставят информация за възможностите за компостиране в трансграничния регион. По време на изпълнението на дейностите по проекта, общините от двата региона ще бъдат приобщени към идеята и ще станат част от процесите и обучението, получавайки информация за ползите от компостирането и разделното събиране на отпадъците от гражданите. Този проект има за цел да покаже, че опазването на околната среда е един от основните приоритети на региона, използването на органичните отпадъци по начин, който не само ще намали замърсяването, но ще подобри и качеството на живот чрез производството на органичен компост. Повишаване на обществената информираност и примерът, който трябва да се даде на гражданите на региона е основната полза от този проект.

Description (EN):

The project aims to increase the public awareness about environmental protection and protection of natural resources using the organic waste to create organic fertilizer - Composter in the cross-border region. With the implementation of the project promotional video will be produced that will explain the concept of composting (usage of the composting containers and the benefits for the households) and to promote the project. The raw video material recorded during the production of the promotional video will be used to produce a short TV announcement to call the interested households to apply and receive a composting container that will be supplied with this project. In the framework of the project, brochure will be prepared and printed and every citizen that will receive a composter as well as persons who will attend at the project events will get this brochure. Info days will be implemented where citizens will get their composters and will be trained in their use. The Studies that will be prepared in the frame of this project will provide information about the composting potentials in the cross-border region. Throughout the implementation of the project activities, municipalities from the two regions will be involved and be part of the processes of training, information about the benefits of composting and partitioning of the composters between citizens. This project aims to show that protecting the environment is one of the main priorities of the region, the usage of the organic waste in a manner that will not only reduce the pollution, but will improve the quality of the land through the produced organic compost. Raising the public awareness and the example that should be given to the citizens of the region is the main benefit of this project.

Achievements (EN):

The project “Think Composting - Dedication to the organic full circle” contributes towards utilizing the certain amounts of organic waste and garbage through producing organic composts that can be used to improve the quality of the land in the cross-border region. The benefits from this project, especially from the prepared and published studies (“Study for analysis of composting potentials in domestic conditions in the South-East planning region” and “Study about the composting potentials in the cross-border region”) and brochures (“Think composting – dedication to the organic full circle” and “Manual on composting”), can be used by all the residents of R. Macedonia and R. Bulgaria, because this project has a great environmental impact in both countries through the promotion of composting and utilization of the organic waste created in the cross-border region. Similar promotional campaigns for raising the awareness of the inhabitants of the cross-border region about the potentials of the organic waste and stimulate them not to throw their waste in garbage cans but in special places -composters that will allow its utilization can be implemented in the other regions of the neighboring countries. Also similar studies for the composting potentials and utilization of the natural resources can be prepared and published in all other regions in R. Macedonia and R. Bulgaria. The training and workshop that were implemented as part of this project supported the exchange of experience and transfer of know-how, and enhanced the cooperation for joint activities in the cross border region of R. Macedonia and R. Bulgaria.

The 10 municipalities from the South-East planning region in Republic of Macedonia are: Bogdanci, Bosilovo, Valandovo, Vasilevo, Gevgelija, Dojran, Konche, Novo Selo, Radvish and Strumica. The 17 municipalities from the Southwestern region from Republic of Bulgaria are: Bansko, Belitsa, Blagoevgrad, Grmen, Goce Delchev, Kresna, Simitli, Strumjani, Sandanski, Petrich, Razlog, Satovacha, Hadzidimovo, Rila, Kocherinovo, Boboshevo and Nevestinovo. Representatives from project partners and the 27 municipalities were part of the activities that were implemented during the implementation of the project. Number of participants in environmental related trainings and campaigns;27.00;27 representatives from the 27 municipalities from the cross-border region were nominated to participate in the project activates by their mayors. These 27 participants were present to the two-day training in the SEPR. The goal of this event was to introduce Composting to the responsible people from each municipality from the cross-border region. The responsible people from the Municipalities were the link between the project partners and the receivers of the Composters as they’ll be at the inhabitants’ disposal for any question they have during the process of using their Composters. The goal of the training was to introduce Composting and the Composting process to these people. 27 participants of the Training received Certificates for successfully completed training in Composting in the Cross-border region. 30 participants from the 27 municipalities from the cross-border region were present to the two-day workshop about Composting potentials in the cross-border region. During the workshop the lectors presented the potential for composting in the municipalities in the cross-border area – on national, regional and local level.
