Natura 2000 inin tanıtılması için halka açık etkinliklerin düzenlenmesi.

Обучение за съвместно събиране на данни в зони от Натура 2000. 4. Издаване и разпространение на информационни материали. 5. Организиране на местни уъркшопи за Натура 2000. 6. Обществено мероприятие за популяризиране на Натура 2000.

1. Demonstration of process for designation of NATURA 2000 sites in Istranca. 2. Study visit in Bulgaria for presenting the European experience in establishment of NATURA 2000. 3. On-site training for joint data collection at NATURA 2000 sites in. 4. Publication and dissemination of information materials. 5. Organization of local workshops on NATURA 2000. 6. Public event for promoting NATURA 2000.

Achievements (BG):

„Натура 2000“ заема централно място в политиката на Европейския съюз за опазване на природата и биологичното разнообразие. Тя представлява мрежа от защитени райони в Европа, създадени в съответствие с Директивата за природните местообитания от 1992 г. и Директивата за защита на птиците от 1979 г. Целта на мрежата е да гарантира запазването на най-ценните и застрашени от изчезване естествени срещащи се видове и местата, които те обитават. На прага на Европейския съюз, Република Турция трябва да изгради НАТУРА 2000, която ще стане част от общата Европейска Екологична Мрежа. Тази мрежа се състои от списък на защитените зони със съпътстваща документация, включваща описание на флората и фауната и картографския материал. България е държава-членка на ЕС повече от 10 години и може да предаде своя положителен опит в тази област на съседна Турция. В началото на проекта на турския партньор и на други заинтересовани страни бяха представени пилотните дейности за проучване и идентифициране на потенциални територии по НАТУРА 2000 в Турция. Съвместно с външни експерти от Зелени Балкани от българска страна и Тракийския Университет в Одрин, от турска страна бяха проведени полеви проучвания. По време на изследването бяха идентифицирани няколко потенциални „НАТУРА 2000“ зони, сред които две територии, съгласно Директива за местообитанията - района около Национален Парк ,,Инеада“, прилежащите езера и морско крайбрежие, лонгозните гори и една територия, съгласно Директива за защита на птиците - пещерата Дупница, буковите гори по билото на Странджа. Бяха организирани обучения на място за събиране на данни за присъединяване към НАТУРА 2000 в България. На серия от информационни срещи присъстваха преподаватели от „Факултет по горите“ на Истанбулския университет, студенти от Университета в Къркларели, еколози и младежки организации от Турция. В резултат на проведените изследвания бяха разработени Стандартни Информационни Формуляри (SDF) за трите потенциални територии на НАТУРА 2000 в Турция и изготвено проучване за проблемите и заплахи за съществуващи и потенциални защитени зони от НАТУРА 2000 в България, които представляват и потенциална заплаха за обектите на НАТУРА 2000 в Турция. Два филма "НАТУРА 2000 и Зеленият пояс в трансграничния регион България и Турция" и "Странджа - гранична планина", всички рекламни и информационни материали са на разположение на широката общественост на интернет страницата на проекта: http://natura-sakar.org/. С изпълнението на проекта се повишиха готовността и капацитета на турските експерти, НПО, граждани и други заинтересовани страни, което ще осигури активното им участие в процеса на бъдещото развитие на НАТУРА 2000 в Турция. От двете страни на границата има много хора, готови да запазят природното богатство съседните държави.

Achievements (EN):

In the area that were developed and promoted in the frame of the project is the Istranca Region which is a huge area located both in Turkey’s borders and Bulgaria’s. In addition to the target area of the project, the activities were conducted across the borders. Joint trainings, workshops, on-site training and study visite exnhanced exchanges between two cross-border regions. This common learning process created a strong bond between experts and local stakeholders and thus between two countries. The overall functioning of NATURA 2000 is based on the linking of protected areas to a common network that is not affected by borders- which is not influenced by physical borders. As part of the project, three potential NATURA 2000 sites have been identified- ‘Habitats Directive’ (92/43/EEC) in 1992 - Igneada Forests and Wetlands – pSCI and Dupnisa Cave (Dupnisa magara sistemi ) – pSCI one of ‘Birds Directive’ (79/402/EEC later 2009/147/EC) - Igneada Wetlands - SPA. They are situated right in the border region of Turkey. They would be key to the future NATURA 2000 building in this area from Turkey. They will also be the basis for creating a functional link with at least two protected areas of the NATURA 2000 network in Bulgaria as SCI “Strandja“ BG0001007, SPA “Strandja“ BG0002040 and ect.
