Description (EN): The two partners initiated this project to ensure better living conditions to their residents by ensuring energy efficient street lighting in the municipalities.The aim of the project is to ensure energy efficient lighting in 4 villages within Municipality of Blagoevgrad and 8 setlement in Municipality of Delchevo and to promote the sustainable use of the natural resources in the CB area through various thematic workshops on topics “Sustainable Use of the Natural Resources" and “Environment Protection”. During these workshops specific measures will be indicated for further common actions in the environmental sphere.The main outputs of the project are: ensured energy efficient street lighting in villages within Municipality of Blagoevgrad – Logodazh, Padesh, Zelen Dol and Pokrovnik - replaced existing street lighting structures with new LED street lighting types and Developed intelligent management systems; ensured energy efficient street lighting in 7 villages within Municipality of Delchevo, as wel as in the town of Delchevo, as follows: village of Gabrovo, village of Dzvegor, village Razlovtsi, village Virche, village Grad, village Trabotivishte, village Stamer and the town of Delchevo; - ensured LED lights for public lighting - 28 W (600 pcs); - ensured LED lights for public lighting - 60 W (110 pcs); - ensured LED lights for public lighting - 100 W (50 pcs); Conducted 2 days workshop "Sustainable Use of the Natural Resources" in Delchevo; conducted 2 days workshop "Environment Protection" in Blagoevgrad; The project is designed to have a great multiplier effect and potential for further development, as it starts the basis for common action on the topics of environment protection and common use of the natural resources in the CB area. During workshops on topics “Sustainable Use of the Natural Resources" and “Environment Protection” specific measures will be indicated for further common actions in the environmental sphere.

Целта на проектот е да се обезбеди ефикасно користење на енергијата за осветлување во 4 села во Општина Благоевград и 8 населби во општина Делчево и да се промовира одржливо користење на природните ресурси во прекуграничната област преку разни тематски работилници на теми за "Одржлива употреба на природните ресурси" и "заштита на животната средина". Во текот на овие работилници ќе бидат наведени конкретни мерки за понатамошни заеднички активности во областа на животната средина. Главните резултати од проектот се: обезбедена енергетска ефикасност на уличното осветлување во села во Општина Благоевград - Логодаж, Падеш, Зелен Дол и Покровник - заменето постоечко улично осветлување со нови типови на LED улично осветлување и развиен интелигентни системи за управување; обезбедено енергетско ефикасно користење на улично осветлување во 7 села на Општина Делчево ( Габрово, Ѕвегор, Разловци, Вирче, Тработивиште, Стамер) како и во и градот Делчево; Обезбедени LED светилки за јавно осветлување - 28 W (600 парчиња); Обезбеденои LED светилки за јавно осветлување - 60 W (110 парчиња); Обезбедени LED светилки за јавно осветлување - 100 W (50 парчиња); Спроведена дводневна работилница "Одржлива употреба на природните ресурси" во Делчево; спроведена дводневна работилница на тема "Заштита на животната средина" во Благоевград; Проектот е дизајниран да има голем мултиплицирачки ефект и потенцијал за понатамошен развој, како почетнаа основа за заедничка акција на теми на заштита на животната средина и заедничко користење на природните ресурси во областа на прекуграничната соработка. Во текот на работилници на теми "Одржливо искористување на природните ресурси" и "Заштита на животната средина" конкретни мерки ќе бидат наведени за понатамошни заеднички активности во областа на животната средина.
Read more Description (BG): Двете партниращи общини инициират настоящия проект, с основна цел осигуряване на по-добри условия за живот на местните жители, чрез въвеждане на енергоефективно улично осветление на територията на общините Благоевград и Делчево. Обхванати са четири села от община Благоевград и осем селища от община Делчево по отношение на мерките за енергийно ефективност, както и се насърчава въвеждане на възстановяеми енергийни източници за устойчиво използване на природните ресурси в трансграничния регион, чрез провеждане на тематични семинари за устойчиво използване на природните ресурси и опазване на околната среда. По време на тези семинари ще бъдат обсъдени и изведени конкретни мерки за следващи съвместни действия в областта на опазването на околната среда. Предвидените основни резултати по проекта са: въведено енергоефективно улично осветление в селата Логодаж, Падеш, Зелен дол и Покровник - община Благоевград, чрез замяна на елементите на съществуващото улично осветление с нов вид LED осветителни тела и изграждане на системи за интелигентно управление; осигурено енергоспестяващо улично осветление в седем селища в община Делчево, включително общинския център, а именно: с. Габрово, с. Дзвегор, с. Разловци, с. Вирче, с. Тработивище, с. Стамер и гр. Делчево; монтирани LED – осветителни тела за улично осветление - 28 W (600 бр.), 60 W (110 бр.) и 100 W (50 бр.); проведен двудневен семинар на тема "Устойчиво използване на природните ресурси" в Делчево; проведен двудневен семинар на тема "Опазване на околната среда" в Благоевград. Проектът залага голям мултиплициращ ефект и потенциал за по-нататъшно развитие, тъй като утвърждава основа за общи действия по отношение на опазването на околната среда и общото балансирано и устойчиво ползване на природните ресурси в трансграничния регион. По време на двата семинара ще бъдат определени конкретни мерки за следващо сътрудничество и съвместни дейности.
Read more Achievements (EN): The project was designed as to have a huge cross-border impact not only for the partners, but on the whole cross border area. The ensured energy efficient lighting within the partnering municipalities benefitted not only the local population, but all visitors from the cross border area. On the other hand, the energy efficient lighting saved the consumation of electricity, which gives positive result on the whole CB region. Apart from that, within the project implementation, were organized 2 workshops on the following topics: “Sustainable use of the natural resources in the CB area” and “Environment protection”. These workshops were very important for the cross-border impact, because there were participants from different Bulgarian and Macedonian institutions, such as Basin Directorate - Blagoevgrad, Western Aegean Region, Regional Inspectorate for Environmental Protection - Blagoevgrad, ELS Delchevo, School, MM Brico - Delchevo, School Vancho Prke - Delchevo, YPKD Bregalnica, District Administration Blagoevgrad, School Kliment Ohridski - Delchevo, Rila National Park Directorate, RAC Delchevo, Municipality of Blagoevgrad and Municipality of Delchevo. The achieved knowledge will be a prerequisite for a “pass the knowledge forward”, because a significant part of the participants were representatives of the schools in the cross border area. The results of the 2 workshops are merged in a protocol provided to the partners in order to be included in their development plans and strategic documents.
By implementing the information and publicity measures, the public was aware of the results and effects of the project implementation, which indirectly contributed to the cross-border impact of the project activities.
