The project is focused on activities related to addressing the challenge and exploiting the potential for improving quality of tourist offer through the provision of the needed key business skills and creating possibilities for self-employment (predominantly of young people). The project establish a relaible model for resolving problems and addressing the needs of local communities with the aim to increase the opportunity for smart economic growth on local and trans-border level. This project aims creating opportunities for employment of young people, stimulating social links and exchange, maintaining good neighbour relations. Exchange of information and capacity building of tourism sector development through developing of project Action Plan for fostering entrepreneurship in tourism, Specialized training for young entrepreneurs in tourism, Online platform for business consultations in tourism and Online consultations for start-ups in the sector of tourism.

Проектот е фокусиран на активности поврзани со искористување на потенцијалот за подобрување на квалитетот на туристичката понуда преку обезбедување на потребните клучни бизнис вештини и создавање на можности за самовработување (претежно на млади луѓе). Проектот ќе воспостави одржлив модел за решавање на проблеми и задоволување на потребите на локалните заедници, со цел да се зголеми можноста за интелегентен економски развој на локално и прекуграничниот ниво. Овој проект има за цел создавање на можности за вработување на младите луѓе, стимулирање на социјалните врски и размена, одржување на добрососедските односи. Размена на информации и јакнење на капацитетите за развој на туристичкиот сектор, преку разработка на Акциониот план на проектот за поттикнување на претприемништвото во областа на туризмот, специјализирана обука за млади претприемачи во областа на туризмот, онлајн платформа за бизнис консултации во областа на туризмот и онлајн консултации за новонастанатите претпријатија во туристичкиот сектор.

Проектът се фокусира върху дейности, свързани с използване потенциала за подобряване качеството на туристическото предлагане чрез предоставяне на необходими ключови бизнес умения и създаване на възможности за самостоятелна заетост (предимно на млади хора). Проектът установява реален модел за решаване проблемите и е насочен към нуждите на местните общности с цел увеличаване възможностите за интелигентен икономически растеж на местно и транс-гранично ниво. Този проект цели създаване на възможности за заетост на младите хора, стимулиране на социалните връзки и обмен, поддържане на добросъседски отношения. Обмен на информация и изграждане на капацитет в сектора туризъм чрез разработване на Проектен план за действие за насърчаване предприемачеството в туризма, Специализирано обучение за млади предприемачи в туризма, Онлайн платформа за бизнес консултации в туризма и Онлайн консултации за нововъзникващи предприятия в сектора на туризма.

Achievements (EN):

The cross-border impact of the project can be outlined as follows: - On the basis of the identified similarities and common problems, were implemented sustainable solutions for supporting the economic development of the entire cross-border region by creating common initiatives for entrepreneurship among youths in the field of tourism - Support was provided for the social development of the region as well by creating opportunities for employment of young people, stimulating social links and exchange, maintaining good neighbour relations The proposed solutions were based on the performed study of the challenges for the provision of quality tourist services and products in the CBC area and the identified measures to be taken in 3 areas – adequately qualified human resources, support for marketing of the tourist services and products and for stimulating and enabling entrepreneurship. On the basis of the proposed solutions and Action Plan was developed with specific measures, actors and time schedule to the above respect covering the whole CBC area. Specialized training for entrepreneurship was organized for 40 Bulgarian and Macedonian potential entrepreneurs in tourism, and the event also served the purpose for establishing contacts and exchange of ideas. A joint web-based information, training and communication platform was created which also will serve as forum of young entrepreneurs in tourism from both sides of the border and the potential to develop on a larger scale. At the start, online consultations were provided to more of the planned 120 representatives of the target group, both from Bulgaria and Macedonia CBC area. Finally, the STEPS network was established to include key stakeholders with relation to the social economic development of the CBC area through stimulating entrepreneurship in tourism, with the potential to multiply the STEPS model and approach in other sectors and areas.
