Activities run parallel in both cross border regions - Fieldwork and ethnographical study prepared and carried out in both countries, Analysis of the supply/demand of rural tourism products in the border area prepared in Turkey, 2 Joint Capacity Building Trainings - for public sector representatives in Pomorie and Tourism SME representatives in Keshan, Communication, logistics, visibility activities - design, elaboration of printed materials for visibility and communication, 2 Food Festivals - 1 Opening in Pomorie and 1 Closing in Keshan.

Faaliyetler Sınırın Her iki Bölgesinde Paralel Olarak Yürütülecektir. – Saha Çalışması ve Etnografik çalışma hazırlandı. – Türkiye Tarafınca Sınır Bölgesinde Turizm Ürünlerinin Arz/Talep Analizi Yapıldı. – Kamu Sektörü Temsilcileri için Pomorie’de, KOBİ temsilcileri için Keşan’da 2 Adet Kapasite Geliştirme Eğitimi Düzenlendi – İletişim, Lojistik, Görünürlük Faaliyetleri – Görünürlük ve İletişim İçin Basılı Materyallerin Tasarımı ve Detaylandırılması - 2 Yemek Festivali (Açılış Festivali Pomorie ve Kapanış Festivali Keşan)

Осъществяват се паралелно в двата трансгранични региона – етнографското проучване ще бъде изготвено и извършено в двете държави, Анализа на търсене/предлагане на селски туристически продукти в граничната област ще бъдат изготвени в Турция, 2 съвместни обучения за повишаване на капацитета– за публичния сектор на представителите в Поморие и представители на туристически МСП в Кешан, публичност, разпространение и визуализация – проектиране, изработване на печатни материали по визуализация и публичност, два кулинарни фестивала – един, бележещ началото в Поморие, и един закриващ мероприятието в Кешан.

Achievements (EN):

As a result of the project implementation the cross-border cooperation capacity of the Burgas and Edirne border regions was strengthened. The cross-border tourism potential of both regions was developed, thus leading to raised competitiveness in the tourism and food sectors of both rural regions. In addition, the project strengthened the intercultural connection between the local communities on both sides of the border by raising awareness of commonly shared intangible cultural heritage. As a direct result from the improved awareness on the cultural and historical values of the region it is expected that more tourists will visit the cross-border area Burgas-Edirne to taste the local dishes and visit the points of interest included in the map. This can be easily experienced by the local stakeholders, tourism services providers and local population of the concerned locations. This information can be easily quantified by comparing the number of visits of tourists at the end of this year with the data from the previous years. The increased tourist presence has direct effect on the demand of tourism services and products. In this regards, it is expected that the hotel visits and guest houses bookings will increase over time. The occupancy of local cafes and restaurants will also increase as well as the sale of souvenirs, crafts and other products. This effect can be experienced by the local SMEs. It will lead to increase in their revenue and prospects for better quality of life. The increased demand for tourism services in turn will lead to more jobs and opportunities for development of own business. This will directly affect the reduction of the unemployment rates in the cross-border region. It can be measured through the data of local employment agencies. In addition, the capacity of the non-governmental and business sector in the field of tourism in the cross-border region was enhanced by networking and trainings. The skills developed among the local stakeholders and public authorities in diversifying the tourism offer will allow them to develop from now on high quality alternative tourist products and services that will attract new visitors, tempted to explore the regions culture and traditions even after the summer season. In addition, the local stakeholders created important partnerships and had the chance to exchange experience which will be beneficial to the whole region. The connections developed between the local stakeholders and the improved knowledge on the culinary traditions and customs of the neighboring country among the local community improved the cross border cooperation and thus enhanced the European territorial cohesion and the European integration process. In addition, as a result from the visits in the two countries, valuable contacts were created - 3 restaurants - Pomorie St. George and 2 restaurants in Keshans are now exchanging chefs in order to upgrade their professional qualifications. Meetings between Bulgarian food producers that participated in the festivals are being organized with Turkish restaurants from Keshan in order to import and use Bulgarian products when preparing dishes. During the visit of cultural and historical places after the festival in Keshan, the Bulgrain folk singers from the village of Kozichno were quite impresses by a Hobby Café where unemployed women produce crafts and souvenirs that are being sold in the café - dolls, dresses, scarves, knits. They even cook and serve homemade sweets. Women gather there to knit and communicate. The folk singers are now planning to create such a café in Kozichno. The extension of the tourism season was one of the main objectives which the application has set in terms of increasing the tourism flows in low and medium season and thereby to affect the reduction of the unemployment rates in the cross-border region and providing conditions for economic growth based on tourism. This will have a positive impact on local economies and the socioeconomic status of the cross-border region population.

Komşuların Lezzet Ağı Projesi 2017 yılında, Bulgaristan-Türkiye Interreg-IPA SÖ, Programının mali desteği ile uygulandı. Projeyi gerçekleştirmede BIO NETWORK Derneği ve Keşan Lokantacı Kahveci ve Otelciler Esnaf Odası yer aldı. İki kuruluş da yemek ve yemek tarifleriyle ilgili ortak ve farklı gelenekleri yaymak isteyen bir ekip kurmayı başardı. Ayrıca proje ekibi ilkbahar ve sonbaharda sınır ötesi bölgede daha fazla turist çekmek ve bölgeyi iyi bilinen bir yemek mekânına dönüştürmek istediler. Ana fikir açıktı - daha fazla ziyaretçi gelir, burada harcadıkları ve bölgenin kültürel ve doğal güzelliklerinin tadını çıkardıkları zaman, yerel halk için daha fazla iş imkânı ve gelir yaratılır. Bu bir yıl boyunca ortaklar, bölgedeki muazzam kültür ve turizm potansiyelini keşfedip olabildiğince desteklediler. Proje, yerel topluluk ve politika yapıcılara sürdürülebilir turizm gelişimine yönelik ilgili rehberlerin sağlanması için ortakların ihtiyaç duyduğu bilgi zeminini sağlayan araştırma ve analizler ile başladı. Bu hedef Pomorie ve Keşan'da düzenlenen iki ortak eğitimle gerçekleştirildi. Etkinlikler, 60'tan fazla kamu sektörü ve KOBİ temsilcisini bir araya getirdi ve her mevsim alternatif turizm ürünlerini geliştirilen sınır bölgesinde yerel somut olmayan kültürel mirasın faydaları konusunda farkındalığı artırmayı başardı. İki etkinlik, bölgesel turizm paydaşlarını bir araya getirdi ve onların yararlı iş ilişkileri ve arkadaşlıklar kurmasına yardımcı oldu. Restoran sahipleri aralarında personel alışverişini düzenledikleri etkinlik sayesinde, aşçılar yeni tarifleri nasıl pişireceklerini öğrendi, gıda üreticileri yeni tatlar denedi. Eğitimler sırasında hepsi birlikte çalıştı ve bölgeyi eşsiz turizm destinasyonunda aktif olarak destekledi. Projenin doruk noktası - Ekim ve Kasım aylarında gerçekleşen iki yemek festivali, proje yaklaşımının başarılı olduğunu kanıtladı. İki etkinlik kapsamlı bir şekilde gerçekleştirilmiş ve aktif turizm mevsiminin dışında yüzlerce ziyaretçi çekmiştir. Ziyaretçiler her iki ülkeden aşçılar tarafından hazırlanan ve servis edilen geleneksel Bulgar ve Türk yemeklerini denemeye geldiler. Lezzetli yemekler ve tarifler gösterildi. Bazı tarifler, yerel halkın ve gençlerin desteği ile ortaklar tarafından hazırlanan yemek kitabında bulunabilir. İki başarılı festival, amacı - sınır ötesi bölgede turizmin gelişmesine katkıda bulunmak olan " Komşuların Lezzet Ağı" projesinin amacını yerine getirdiğini kanıtladı. Bölgede turizm sektöründeki kalıcı temaslar, deneyim alışverişi ve işbirliğini geliştirdi. Potansiyel ziyaretçilere yönelik etkinlikte hazırlanmakta olan harika yemeklerin tadına bakıp keşfini yapabilecekleri ve kültürü tanıyabilecekleri yerlerin tanıtımı yapıldı. Pomorie ve Keşan'daki mutfak festivallerinin ve projenin en önemli anlarının kısımları, en az uzmanların ve yerel topluluk temsilcilerinin yorumları kadar, Bulgarca ve Türkçe altyazılı bir filmde yer aldı. Film, projeyi, festivalleri, dikkat çeken olağanüstü yemekleri ve sınır ötesi bölgenin çağlar ve nesiller boyunca taşıdığı kültür hakkındaki bilgileri yaymak için yapıldı.

Дейностите са изпълнени съгласно предвидения план-график. Проектът „Мрежа кулинарен комшулук“ беше реализиран през 2017-2018 година с финансовата подкрепа на Интеррег за трансгранично сътрудничество България-Турция. Основните движещи сили зад неговото осъществяване бяха българската Асоциация БИО МРЕЖА и турската Камара на ресторантьорите, хотелиерите и кафетериите в гр. Кешан. Двете организации успяха успешно да изградят сплотен екип, който силно желаеше да разпространи общите и разнообразни традиции, свързани с храната, готвенето и домашните рецепти. По този начин те искаха да привлекат повече туристи в трансграничния регион през пролетта и есента и да го превърнат в добре позната кулинарна дестинация. Подходът беше ясен - колкото повече посетители идват, колкото повече време прекарват тук, наслаждавайки се на храната и културните и природни красоти на района, толкова повече възможности за работа и доходи за местните жители ще бъдат създадени. За тази година партньорите проучиха и популяризираха огромния културен потенциал и предлагането на туризма в региона. Проектът стартира с проучване и анализ, които дадоха информационната основа, от която партньорите имаха нужда, за да предоставят на местната общност и на политиците подходящи насоки за устойчиво развитие на туризма. Това се случи по време на двете обучения, организирани в Поморие и Кешан. Събитията събраха повече от 60 представители на публичния сектор и МСП и успяха да повишат осведомеността им относно ползите от използването на местно нематериално културно наследство за развитието на всесезонните алтернативни туристически продукти в граничния регион. Двете обучения обединиха заинтересовани страни в сферата на туризма в региона и им помогнаха да установяват полезни бизнес контакти и приятелства. Благодарение на събитията, собственици на ресторанти уредиха обмени на персонал, готвачите се научиха как да приготвят нови рецепти, производителите на храни опитаха нови вкусове. По време на обученията те всички работиха заедно и активно допринесоха за превръщането на региона в уникална туристическа дестинация. Кулминацията на проекта - двата кулинарни фестивала през октомври и ноември доказаха, че проектният подход е успешен. Двете събития бяха широко отразени в медиите и привлякоха стотици посетители извън активния туристически сезон. Те пристигнаха да опитат традиционни български и турски ястия, приготвени и сервирани от кулинарни експерти от двете страни. Вкусни ястия и рецепти бяха демонстрирани. Някои от тях могат да бъдат намерени в кулинарната книга, създадена от партньорите с подкрепата на местната общност и младежи от региона. Двата успешни фестивала предоставиха доказателства, че проектът "Мрежа кулинарен комшулук" изпълни своята цел - да допринесе за развитието на туризма в трансграничния регион. Той създаде постоянни контакти, обмени опит и подобри сътрудничеството в туристическата индустрия в региона. Той популяризира сред потенциалните посетители типичните места, където могат да опитат чудесната храна, която се приготвя тук, да изследват забележителностите и да оценят културата. Фрагменти от най-важните моменти от проекта, и по-специално кулинарните фестивали в Поморие и Кешан, както и коментари на експерти и представители на местната общност бяха включени във филм на български и турски език. Филмът бе създаден, за да популяризира проектът, фестивалите и забележителните ястия и култура, които трансграничният регион носи и пази през вековете и поколенията.
