Description (EN):

The main objective of the project is to increase the competitiveness of regional businesses by providing support for innovative and creative ideas of women and young people from the Roma community to start their own business. The project aims too providing best practices, establishing contacts with successful entrepreneurs and visiting businesses, establishing relations with representatives of business organizations, trainings and mentoring to develop a business plan and promoting cross-border cooperation between entrepreneurs and realization of joint project activities. Establishing of Cross-Border Center supports development of Roma Business on both sides of the border and partnership and cooperation between Roma entrepreneurs from the border region. The project address to capacity building among Roma youth and women and entrepreneurs from both municipalities Blagoevgrad and Kochani, improving the quality of life of Roma, their families and economic development in the border region.

Главната цел на проектот е да се зголеми конкурентноста на регионалните фирми преку обезбедување на поддршка за иновативни и креативни идеи на жени и млади лица од ромската заедница за започнување свој сопствен бизнис. Целта на проектот е исто така претставување на најдобри практики, воспоставување на контакти со успешни претприемачи и посета на претпријатија, воспоставувањето на врски со претставници на деловни организации, обуки и прирачници за развивање на бизнис план, промоција на прекуграничната соработка помеѓу претприемачите и реализација на заеднички активности на проектот. Создавање на прекуграничен центар за поддршка на развој на ромскиот бизнис од двете страни на границата и партнерство и соработка помеѓу ромските претприемачи од пограничниот регион. Проектот е концентриран врз изградба на капацитетот на младите роми и жените и претприемачи од двете општини Благоевград и Кочани, подобрување на квалитетот на животот на ромите, нивните семејства и економскиот развој во прекуграничниот регион.

Основната цел на проекта е да се повиши конкурентоспособността на регионалните фирми чрез подкрепа за новаторски и творчески идеи на жените и младите хора от ромската общност да започнат собствен бизнес. Целта на проекта е и предоставяне на най-добри практики, установяване на контакти с успешни предприемачи и гостуващи фирми, създаване на връзки с представители на бизнес организации, обучения и ръководство за изготвяне на бизнес план и насърчаване трансграничното сътрудничество между предприемачи и реализация на съвместни дейности по проекта. Създаване на Трансграничен център, подкрепящ развитието на ромския бизнес от двете страни на границата и партньорство и сътрудничество между ромски предприемачи от граничния район. Проектът е адресиран към изграждане на капацитет у ромската младеж, жени и предприемачи от двете общини Благоевград и Кочани, подобряване на качеството на живот на ромите, техните семейства и икономическо развитие в граничния регион.

Achievements (EN):

The aim of the project proposal is capacity building among Roma representatives from both municipalities - Blagoevgrad and Kochani to start their own business. This aim contributed to improving the quality of life of Roma and their families in the cross border area. Capacity building and support Roma people to start their own business contributed to the economic development in the cross border region. The project activities made relation between direct and indirect target from the cross border area . As result project achieved cooperation and joint process of business planing, mutual understanding, build confidence among Roma. The project built cross-border Roma community through developed cross-border business center for Roma. The center disseminated information and provided consultations in the border region for opportunities of business development in Bulgaria and Macedonia. Project develop and strengthen the contacts and collaboration both between individuals and between institutions. The main cross-border effect of project implementation is created cross-border community and business involvement for Roma in the cross -border area.
