Description (EN): The project aims to improve the competitiveness of organic producers from the border region, to achieve sustainable growth of organic production capacity in the target region. Contribution of sustainable growth of organic production capacity through astablishment of project activities: Joint Analysis and Strategy for enhancing the organic production sector, Extended Network of the stakeholders in the organic sector, Cross-border consultation centres for organic producers, Organic Production Strategy, Business Manual and Trainings for business capacity development, Online Platform for Joint Marketing and Trade Exchange for promoting the business opportunities. Project aims too supporting development of organic production, contribution to improving the competitiveness of regional businesses and increasing prodution capacity, trade realisation at new markets.

Проектът допринася за устойчив растеж на биологичното производство чрез извършване на следните дейности: Съвместен Анализ и Стратегия за повишаване на биологичното производство, Разширена мрежа на заинтересовани участници в органичния сектор, Трансгранични консултационни центрове за органични производители, Стратегия за биологично производство, Бизнес ръководство и Обучения за бизнес развитие и капацитет, Онлайн платформа за съвместна търговия и обмен за популяризиране на бизнес възможности. Проектът цели и подкрепяне развитието на биологичното производство, допринася за подобряване конкурентоспособността на регионалните фирми и увеличаване качеството на продукцията, търговия на нови пазари.
Read more Achievements (EN): The series of joint events, with the active participation of producers and stakeholders on both sides of the border, contributed to achieve a long-lasting results and for enhancing the business capacity and business cooperation opportunities at international level. The development of the Network EOP-CBR and of a number of documents (Analysis and Strategy) and tools in support the organic sector helped to develop the joint production capacity and to create advantageous trends for development of a competitive export marketing business environment. These documents are very useful for professional associations, responsible public institutions, local authorities and entrepreneurs which will be able to plan their individual and joint actions for organic production, manufacturing facilities, range of products, marketing approaches, etc. The Joint Online Platform for Marketing helped to promote the existing business opportunities of the organic sector and will attract commercial and investment interest to the cross-border region. It resulted in increasing the production capacity and to trade realization at new markets. As a result, joint production, marketing and sales initiatives were fostered. All this contributed to boost the competitiveness of organic businesses sector at cross-border and international level.

Supported joint start-up and self-employment initiatives;1.00;Supported start-ups in the organic sector: 32 from Bulgaria and 30 from Macedonia that were consulted from business experts in both consultation centers (Activity 5. Cross-border consultation cenntres for organic producers) in Sandanski and in Strumitsa.The companies and persons were consulted on how to start own business in organic sector. The indicator is evidenced by: a list of the companies consulted and the consultations provided.

A total of 101 new members (51 from BG and 50 from Macedonia) joined the Network during the project implementation; The number 101 includes all 87 companies registered in bio-trade.eu who automatically become members of the Network and users of the Network Forum integrated in the web platform, and 14 other members (5 from MK and 9 from BG) - experts and consultants in the organic sector. Two discussion meetingsaimed at Network development were organised. As a tool for growth, the e-platform www.bio-trade.eu has been used to improving the competence of the members of the network through the Online Internal Forum for supporting the communication within the Netwok; A leaflet for promotion of the Network EOP-CBR was also elaborated by MOPF; The Network has been promoted among potential investors during the international organic fair SANA, Italy.The indicator is evidenced by: screenshots of Network forum with all network members on JMTE organic, participants list from Network meetings and leaflet for promotion of the Network.
