Description (EN):

The project aims to integrate the European healthcare standards and innovations by promoting cross border cooperation between people (students, young medical experts) and institutions (medical organizations, facilities, universities). Project aims too development of interregional cooperation as a factor to achieve an integrated and qualitative growth of medical services, transfer of best practices and improving administrative and economic interaction on a regional scale through utilization of innovative medical equipment, building capacities and knowledge of young medical experts to jointly address common challenges in the sector.

Проектот има за цел интегрирација во европските здравствени стандарди и иновации преку промоција на прекуграничната соработка помеѓу луѓето (студенти, млади медицински експерти) и институциите (медицински организации, установи, универзитети). Целта на проектот е исто така развој на меѓурегионалната соработка, како фактор за да се постигне интегриран и квалитативен раст на медицинските услуги, трансферот на најдобри практики и подобрување на административните и економските интеракции на регионално ниво преку користење на иновативна медицинска опрема, градење на капацитетите и знаењето на младите медицински експерти, заеднички да одговорат на заедничките предизвици во овој сектор.

Проектът цели интегриране на Европейски здравни стандарти и нововъведения чрез насърчаване на транс граничното сътрудничество между хора (студенти, млади медицински експерти) и институции (медицински организации, институции, университети). Проектът цели и развитие на междурегионалното сътрудничество като фактор за постигане на интегриран и качествен растеж на медицинските услуги, трансфер на добри практики и подобряване административното и икономическо взаимодействие в регионален мащаб чрез използване на новаторско медицинско оборудване, изграждане на капацитет и знания у младите медицински експерти за съвместни предизвикателства в сектора.

Achievements (EN):

The project has been implemented with the same scope in both regions of the common CB area of Bulgaria (Blagoevgrad District, BG413) and Macedonia (East Planning Region, MK002). The project concept was developed through a common needs and opportunities assessment plan of the cross-border region. The actions addressed common issues and deficiencies related to the state of development of the healthcare systems in both countries, as well as lack of highly qualified personnel and brain drain of young medical experts. In this regards identical activities were implemented and similar target groups were involved within the frame of project implementation. In addition joint networking events were organized where representative of the main target groups of the CB area had the opportunity to network and discuss common issues and prospects. The project promoted cooperation and innovative healthcare practices in the two neighboring regions through the use of new technologies, capacity building events, exchange of know-how and best practices among medical professional of both sides of the border. By supporting activities and joint actions (Cross-border Healthcare Cluster) related to the promotion of cooperation and further growth in cross-border entrepreneurial activity, the project strengthened the region’s position and enhanced the overall economic and social development of the cross-border area.
