Description (FR): DÉFI DU PROJET:
- Permettre à de nouvelles innovations de venir sur le marché en tant que nouveaux produits afin de renforcer les activités des PME et d'avoir un impact économique direct dans la région Euregio Meuse-Rhin.
- Améliorer la valorisation transfrontalière des technologies et des idées qui attendent actuellement dans les laboratoires des universités ou dans les PME. À cet égard, les bureaux de transfert de technologie des universités (TTO) doivent s'adapter au nouvel environnement d'innovation et au contexte de la valorisation, conduisant plus de PME dans les laboratoires et apportant de l'innovation au marché grâce à l'innovation ouverte et aux collaborations public-privé transfrontalières.
- Stratégie de l'hélice à 3 branches avec les institutions du savoir (KI), l'industrie et les gouvernements.
OBJECTIFS:
- Développer / améliorer les échanges bidirectionnels entre PME et KI de l'EMR concernant la R & D & I, afin d'améliorer la force innovatrice des PME et de les rendre plus compétitives.
- Stimuler des stratégies collaboratives en poussant les PME dans les universités, afin de trouver des solutions à leurs problèmes d'innovation. Par exemple, cela concerne les PME qui doivent adapter leurs technologies / produits à de nouveaux marchés ou aux nouvelles exigences du client.
- Soutenir une valorisation transfrontalière des technologies provenant des universités de l'EMR d'un niveau de Technology Readiness Level (TRL) de 2-3, grâce à la collaboration et à la co-création avec des entreprises PME et des instituts de recherche industrielle qui amèneront ces technologies à un TRL beaucoup plus élevé (4 -5).
- Améliorer l'écosystème d'innovation de l'EMR + en renforçant la structure d'innovation grâce à une coopération intensive entre PME et KI.
- Professionalisation des TTO vers un réseau au sein de l'EMR+. permettant une harmonisation sur la façon dont la valorisation est mise en oeuvre et une plus grande visibilité des offres existantes.
RÉSULTATS ET DÉLIVRABLES ATTENDUS:
- valorisation transfrontalière des nouvelles technologies,
- nouvelles connections et collaborations transfrontalières au travers de nouveaux partenariats (matchmaking event),
- augmentation du professionalisme des équipes TTO,
- elaboration d'un réseau TTO transfrontalier.
ACTIVITÉS:
- repérer les technologies et les innovations dans les PME et les institutions de la connaissance,
- rendre plus visible la large offre de technologies,
- apparier les meilleurs partenaires,
- supporter des nouveaux partenariats, avec de l'aide administrative et logistique,
- améliorer le professionalisme des équipes TTO.
Les points focus du projet seront les Life Sciences, les Digital Technologies and les Advanced Materials.

ZIEL:

Ihre Innovation durch Zusammenarbeit und Co-Kreationen mit Laboratorien Stimulieren Strategien zu intelligenter Spezialisierung von mehr bringen KMU zu den Universitäten, um Lösungen für Probleme zu finden. Zum Beispiel, dass diese Sorge KMU muss angepasst ihre Technologien / Produkte in neue Märkte oder neue Kundenanforderungen.
- Unterstützung hat grenzüberschreit Bewertung von Technologien aus Universitäten EMR kommen auf einer Technologie Präsenz (TRL) von 2-3, durch Kooperation und Co-Kreation mit EMS-Unternehmen und Industrieforschungseinrichtungen, die These Technologie zu einem viel höheren TRL bringen (4 -5).

- neue Verbindungen und grenzüberschreitende Zusammenarbeit durch neue Partnerschaften (Kooperationsbörse),
- Erhöhung der Professionalität der TTO-Teams - Ausarbeitung eines grenzüberschreitenden Netzwerk TTO.

Die Schwerpunkte des Projekts wird die Life Sciences, die digitalen Technologien und die Advanced Materials sein.
Read more Description (EN): CHALLENGE OF THE PROJECT:
- Allow more innovations to come to the market as new products in order to strengthen the SME companies’s business and to have a direct economical impact within the Euregio Meuse-Rhin area.
- Enhance the crossborder valorisation of technologies and ideas that are currently waiting in the Universities’ laboratories or in the SMEs. In this regard, the Universities’ Technology Transfer Offices (TTOs) must adapt themselves to the new innovation environment and the context of valorisation, leading more SME companies into the laboratories and bringing innovation to the market thanks to open innovation and crossborder private-public collaborations.
- Fit in a Triple Helix strategy with Knowledge institutions (KI), industry and governments.
OBJECTIVES:
- Develop/enhance the two-way exchanges between SME companies and KI of the EMR concerning R&D&I, to enhance the innovative strength of SMEs and make them more competitive.
- Stimulate smart specialisation strategies by bringing more SMEs to the Universities in order to find solutions to their innovation issues via collaborations and co-creations with laboratories. For example, this concern SMEs that needs to adapt their technologies / products to new markets or to new customer requirements.
- Support a crossborder valorisation of technologies coming from Universities of EMR at a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 2-3, through collaboration and co-creation with SME companies and industrial research institutions that will bring these technologies to a much higher TRL (4-5).
- Support/enhance the innovation ecosystem of EMR+ by strengthening the innovation structure through intensive cooperation between SMEs and KI.
- Professionalization of TTO, leading to a crossborder TTO network in EMR+. This network will allow an harmonisation of the way to do valorisation in the EMR, a higher visibility of the EMR Universities’ offer to the SME companies and to the other regions.
EXPECTED RESULTS AND OUTPUTS:
- Crossborder valorisation of many technologies.
- New crossborder connections and collaboration partnerships (matchmaking event).
- Rise of the professionalization level of the TTO’s teams.
- Elaboration of a crossborder TTO network.

- Make more visible the wide offer of technologies.
- Provide companies a ‘state-of-the-art’ in their domain with respect to available technologies, processes and applications, so they can decide to join existing projects or new innovation initiative

- Support the new partnerships with administrative and logistics help.
- Enhance the professionalization of the TTO teams.

Expected Results (EN): RI2 Proportion of innovative enterprises that cooperates with enterprises and knowldge institutions.
Expected Outputs (FR): - Valorisation transfrontalière de beaucoup de technologies via des partenariats PME- institutions scientifiques, développements d’innovations vers de nouveaux produits-démonstrateurs (de TRL 2-3 vers TRL 5-6). Ensuite, les entreprises seront guidées vers des acteurs actuels du réseau de l’innovation qui peuvent les supporter dans les dernières étapes du développement vers le marché (Living labs, incubateurs, systèmes de support financier des régions de l’UE…). La conséquence principale en sera le lancement de nouveaux produits sur le marché.
- Nouvelles connections transfrontalières et des partenariats de collaboration élaborés grâce aux échanges d’innovations potentielles, dans un marché d’innovation entre les partenaires, et grâce à l’organisation d’évènements de matchmaking
- Mise en place d’un réseau transfrontalier de TTO qui va booster la compétitivité de l’EMR+ et de ses PME, et qui se pérennisera après la fin du projet.
Read more Expected Outputs (DE): - Die länderübergreifende Nutzbarmachung zahlreicher Technologien durch neue Partnerschaften zwischen KMU und Wissenseinrichtungen sowie die Entwicklung von Innovationen hin zu neuen Produktdemonstratoren (von TRL 2 zu TRL 5-6). Die Unternehmen werden in der Folge mit bereits aktiven Akteuren des Innovationsnetzwerks in Kontakt gebracht, die sie bei den letzten Schritten auf dem Weg zur Vermarktung unterstützen können .Das letztendliche Ziel ist hierbei die Vermarktung neuer Produkte.
- Neue länderübergreifende Verbindungen und Zusammenarbeitsformen als Folge eines Austauschs zwischen den Partnern über potenzielle Innovationen auf dem „Innovationsmarktplatz“ sowie der Organisation von Kooperationsbörsen.
- Die Einrichtung eines länderübergreifenden TTO-Netzwerks, das die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit der EMR+ und ihrer KMU steigern und auch über den Abschluss des Projekts hinaus fortbestehen wird.
