Expected Outputs (EN): Food waste in the EU amounts to 88Mt or €143bn annually. 35% of this waste occurs in supply chains, 40% in NWE. New technologies exist in NWE region but have not been applied to reduce food waste. Current projects do not focus on Big Data integration.
