Description (DE):

Im Rahmen des Projektes CrossBorder Road sollen fehlende, bzw. nicht durchgehend grenzüberschreitende Straßenverbindungen zwischen dem Mittelburgenland und dem Raum Szombathely – Köszeg – Zsira errichtet werden. Dabei handelt es sich um zwei Straßenabschnitte: Die Fertigstellung der im Projekt "Landmark - Rubber" (ETZ AT-HU 2007-2013) auf ungarischer Seite begonnenen Umfahrungsstraße der Therme Lutzmannsburg auf österreichischer Seite und die Anbindung des südlichsten Abschnitts der Straßenverbindung S31-B61a an das höherrangige ungarische Straßennetz bei Köszeg (Staatstraße Nr. 87).Die gemeinsamen Probleme sind die fehlenden oder nur unzureichend ausgebauten grenzüberschreitenden Straßenverbindungen zwischen den tertiären Knoten Köszeg und Oberpullendorf bzw. deren Anbindung an das TEN-T Kern- bzw. Erweiterungsnetz.Das übergeordnete Projektziel, das mit dem Projekt erreicht werden soll ist die Wiederherstellung bzw. Fertigstellung von grenzüberschreitenden Straßenverbindungen. Damit soll sichergestellt werden, dass das TEN-T Straßennetz beiderseits der Grenze von den sekundären und tertiären Knotenpunkten kürzer, schneller und sicherer erreicht werden kann.Die Kernoutputs des Projektes sind die Neuerrichtung bzw. Ausbau von zwei Straßenabschnitten. Es profitieren sowohl die Bevölkerung beiderseits der Grenzen infolge neuer, schnellerer und sicherer Straßenverbindungen und der Güterverkehr durch eine Direktanbindung das hochrangige Straßennetz. Außerdem kommt es zu einer Verkehrsentlastung, und somit zu einer Verbesserung der Umweltsituation für die Bevölkerung an den bestehenden Straßen.Die Notwendigkeit des grenzüberschreitenden Ansatzes begründet sich mit der grenzüberschreitenden Infrastruktur die errichtet werden soll. Da für beide Straßenprojekte bereits erhebliche Vorarbeiten auf der jeweils gegenüberliegenden Seite getätigt wurden, sind hier vor allem in planerischer Hinsicht detaillierte Abstimmungen erforderlich.

Description (EN):

The CrossBorder Road project aimes to connect non-continuous roads in the Mittelburgenland Area and Szombathely – Köszeg – Zsira. It affects two street sections: First, the completion of the by-pass road „Therme Lutzmannsburg“ in Austria, started during the „Landmark-Rubber“ project (ETZ AT-HU 2007-2013) in Hungary. Second, the conjunction of the southern part of the road S31-B61a with the hungarian higher-ranking road network near Köszeg (State road Nr. 87).The main problem are missing or not fully developed cross-border roads, especially between Köszeg and Oberpullendorf and also the missing connection to the TEN-T road network.Project aim is the rearrangement and finishing of cross-border road network to ensure shorter and safer reachability of the TEN-T road network from Austria as well as from Hungary. The principal object is the rebuilding and extension of two road sections, which contains improvements for both countries as a result of faster and safer routes. It also improves conditions for international road haulage because of better connections to the higher-ranking road network. The project also implements the reduction of traffic which increases the environmental conditions for the sedentary population near the existing roads.The cross-border approach results from the need of a cross-country infrastructure because both countries already achieved massive preparatory work on each side of the border. In this case it is of particular importance to reconcile the planning process.

Description (HU):

A CrossBorder Road projekt célja, hogy megépüljenek a Közép-Burgenland és a Szombathely-Kőszeg-Zsira térség között hiányzó vagy nem végig határon átnyúló útkapcsolatok. Két útszakasz érintett a fejlesztésben: Az első a "Therme Lutzmannsburg“ fürdőt elkerülő út, amelynek építése a „Landmark-Rubber“ (ETE AT-HU 2007-2013) projekt keretében kezdődött Magyarországon, de az osztrák szakasz még hiányzik. Továbbá az S31-B61 számú út déli szakaszának rácsatlakoztatása a Kőszeg mellett haladó magasabb szintű magyar úthálózatra (87-es számú főút).A közös problémát a Kőszeg és Oberpullendorf harmadlagos központok közötti hiányzó vagy nem kellő szinten kiépített határon átnyúló útkapcsolatok jelentik, illetve ezek csatlakoztatása a TEN-T törzshálózatra és átfogó hálózatra.A projekt által elérendő átfogó projektcél a határon átnyúló úthálózat helyreállítása ill. megépítése, biztosítva ezzel a TEN-T hálózat rövidebb utakat igénylő, gyorsabb és biztonságosabb elérését a határ két oldalán fekvő másodlagos és harmadlagos központokból. A projekt határon átnyúló átfogó célkitűzése, hogy felújítsák és szélesítsék a két útszakaszt. Mindkét ország részéről igényel fejlesztést annak érdekében, hogy lehetővé tegyék a gyorsabb és biztonságosabb közlekedést. A fejlesztés kedvezőbb feltételeket teremt a nemzetközi szállítmányozáshoz a magasabb rendű úthálózat jobb elérhetőségével. A projekt eredményeképpen csökken a forgalom, élhetőbb környezetet teremtve így a meglévő út közelében élőknek.A hátáron átnyúló megközelítés szükségessége a létesítendő határon átnyúló infrastruktúrából ered. Tekintettel arra, hogy e körben már mindkét ország jelentős előmunkálatokat végzett, a határ mindkét oldalán, így különösen a tervezési folyamat részletes egyeztetése szükséges.

Expected Outputs (DE): Verringerung der durchschnittlichen Fahrzeiten von den sekundären und tertiären Knoten Oberpullendorf, Köszeg und Szombathely zu Knoten mit TEN-V Netzwerkverbindungen (Wr. Neustadt, Vasegerszeg) um bis zu zehn Minuten.

Expected Outputs (HU): Az átlagos útidők hozzávetőleg 10 perces csökkenése Oberpullendorf, Kőszeg és Szombathely másodrangú és harmadrangú csomópontoktól a TEN-T hálózati csatlakozású csomópontokig (Wr. Neustadt, Vasegerszeg).
