"open DOORS" est une proposition qui concrétise le processus de "clusterisation innovante et transnationale" réalisé dans l'expérience de Capitalisation MED. En effect, cette proposition est bâtie sur l'héritage laissé par 5 projets de capitalisation qui, comme un résultat du processus de capitalisation, ont produit un certain nombre de communautés, de réseaux et de services centrés sur la créativité et l'innovation en tant que moteurs d'une croissance intelligente et durable. Dans la présente proposition, un nombre choisi de partenaires scientifiques et institutionnels favorise la création d'un réseau méditerranéen formelle, sur la base des communautés innovantes et créatives existantes, abordant le nouveau défi de la Sharing Economy. L'étude proposé vise à démontrer comment la Sharing Economy est un moteur de développement économique (creation d'entreprise, revenus intégratifs etc.), territorial (principe de subsidiarité, nouveaux services locaux disponibles qui parfois couvrent les lacunes de services publics) et social (participation directe de la population locale).ll définit également la stratégie et le plan d'action conjoints du réseau pour offrir une gamme de services innovants aux communautés locales créatives, leur permettant de "ouvrir les portes" à de nouvelles formes d'économie collaborative. Le réseau établie sera prêt, dans un avenir proche, pour tester les services innovants et pour développer des expériences réelles et concrètes de Sharing Economy.

Description (EN):

"open DOORS" is a proposal which actualizes the "transnational innovative clusterization" process realized within the MED capitalization experience. In fact this proposal is built on the heritage left by 5 capitalization projects which, as one result of the capitalization process, have produced a number of communities, networks and services dealing with creativeness and innovation as drivers for a smart and sustainable growth. Within the present proposal, a chosen number of scientific and institutional partners promotes the creation of a formal Mediterranean network, based on the existing innovative and creative communities, addressing the new global challenge of the Sharing Economy. The proposed Study aims to demonstrate how the Sharing Economy can be a driver of economic (business dimension, integrative incomes etc), territorial (subsidiary principle and new available local commodities i.e. transport, accommodation etc which cover public services' gaps) and social (civil society direct participation) growth. It also defines the network's joint strategy and action plan for offering a mix of innovative services to the creative local communities, enabling them to "open the doors" to new forms of collaborative economy. The established "open DOORS network" will be ready, in the next future, to test the innovative services and to develop real and concrete experiences of Sharing Economy.

Achievements (EN):

During this reporting period all project partners have jointly implemented all activities aimed to reach the objective "to analyze and to study the many aspects of the Sharing Economy and its potential as a development driver in the MED regions". Practically the main planned output, the Study on the Sharing Economy in the Mediterranean regions, has been finalized in its definitive version.Namely for the progress of the study all partners has contributed to some specific parts of the following last chapters: Prospective analysis and consultive study. Moreover the CNR partner has also proceeded with the creation of the Map of resources.During the period the partners have met once for the SC meeting in Valencia and they have also coordinated their activities through the organization of 3 conference calls.The Communication Manager has taken care that all foreseen communication activities be duly activated: according to the communication plan, the project brochure has been produced and it has been diffused during the project meetings (both the transnational conference in Valencia and the local consultation panels meetings). Moreover in this period the project conference took place in Valencia, cared by UniVal in strict contact with all partners, as well as the press conference which reached also the Spanish national media. The website and the social media accounts have been constantly updated; the forum has been animated and it is promoting the creation of the project network on Sharing and Collaborative economy.The Open Doors project has actively participated at all activities promoted by the JS and by the thematic Horizontal Project "Social and Creative" during this period.
