Description (EN):

Mechanics, building and furniture are traditional MED sectors with a great impact in terms of GDP and employability.These sectors,often clusters,are suffering a lack of innovation able to strengthen their competitiveness in domestic and international markets. The competition from others countries is strong and social trends required new solution: innovation is necessary to win competitors. Actually, the generation of ideas for new products and services according to social and technological trends is one of the main challenge for these clusters. Co-Create objective is to support cross-fertilization processes between creative industries and traditional clusters contributing to test co-design and creative methods applied to entrepreneurs and clusters managers with the support of IPR instruments for their management. The project will promote the cooperation with new methodologies and tools addressed to clusters managers, SMEs and policy makers. Main outputs will be a cross-fertilization toolkit as instrument to favour innovation of Clusters and SMEs, 380 SMEs supported on innovative projects, the setting up of a transnational innovation network between traditional and creative industries and a Manifesto, to promote cross fertilization and to enlarge the network. Co-Create will also contribute to the development at MED level of more competitive clusters through the elaboration of a cross fertilization methodology and toolkit to support and manage cross-clusters initiatives

Mécanique, construction et mobilier sont secteurs traditionnels de MED, avec un grand impact en termes de PIB et employabilité. Ces secteurs souffrent d’un manque d’innovation capable de renforcer leur compétitivité sur les marchés national et international. La concurrence d’industries d’autres pays est forte et la naissance de nouvelles tendances sociales requièrent de nouvelles solutions : innover est essentiel. La génération de nouvelles idées de nouveaux produits et services en ligne avec les tendances sociales et technologiques est le vrai défi pour ces clusters. L’objectif du projet est supporter la fertilisation croisée entre secteurs traditionnels et les créatifs, contribuant à tester solutions créatives parmi entrepreneurs et managers des clusters. Le projet favorise la coopération et l’utilisation de nouveaux outils et méthodologies adressant les gestionnaires de clusters, PMEs et décideurs politiques. Les réalisations les plus importantes seront un kit pour la fertilisation croisée comme outil pour favoriser l’innovation dans les clusters et les PMEs, 380 PMEs supportées en projets innovants, l’établissement d’un réseau d’innovation transnational entre les industries traditionnelles et créatives ; et un Manifeste pour la fertilisation croisée et l’agrandissement du réseau. Co-Create contribuera aussi au développement des clusters plus compétitifs, grâce à l’élaboration d’une méthodologie et un toolkit de cross-fertilisation pour des initiatives inter-clusters.

Achievements (EN):

CO-CREATE Partners continued working on CO-CREATE project during the whole period under reporting and managed to finalise all activities still pending on WP2 and WP 5. Particularly, the activities have been concentrated on: a) implementation of the capitalisation activities according to the WP5 workplan with the organization of the local workshops and the development of necessary documents; b) capitalisation activities focused on the implementation of all toolkit required, the development of the Manifesto and related model for MoU; development of the follow-up plans, etc; c) to contribute to the closure of the project and all related activities with some troubles and delay due to COVID-19 emergency. Concerning the WP5, PartnersL have carried out all activities planned for WP5, particularly, the development of the Capitalisation kit addressed to the policy makers (D. 5. 1.2), the capitalisation kit addressed to the public and private partnership (clusters) (D. 5. 1.3); the organization of the training session addressed to the policy makers(D. 5. 2.4): it took place in Bruxelles from 28th to 29th January 2020 in synergy with another EU event dedicated to CCI and how to finance them; iN Under coordination of Veneto Region, al PPs designed the follow-up plans (D. 5. 3.1) and finalise the Memorandum of Understanding (D. 5. 3.2). CCIAA DL organized the final event in Bruxelles (28th January 2020), in parallel with the training course addressed to policy makers and partners. Communicaton activities have been completed, with some light deviation, but in general assuring the required results. Gamification training session, regional info-days, agreement for collaboration among clusters have been organized and completed. Related media communication have been carried out. One SC and TC meeting took place in Venice past 09-10th December 2020.
