Die Nationalparkstadt Schwedt/Oder, der Nationalpark Unteres Odertal und der polnische Verbund der Landschaftsschutzparks der Wojewodschaft Westpommern initiieren gemeinsames innovatives deutsch-polnisches wassertouristisches Projekt. Die Partner stellen sich der Herausforderung durch Verbesserung der grenzübergreifenden Erlebbarkeit des Naturraumes Unteres Odertal neue Zielgruppen zu erreichen und damit die Region durch Inwertsetzung zu stärken.
Mit dem Projekt „Nachhaltiger Wassertourismus im einzigartigen Unteren Odertal“ wird an die vorangegangenen erfolgreichen deutsch-polnischen Projekte der Partner angeknüpft. Ziel ist die Fortsetzung der grenzüberschreitenden nachhaltigen touristischen Entwicklung durch neue wassertouristische Infrastruktur und gemeinsames Marketing. Ein Netz von Naturrastplätzen entlang der Wasserstraßen, ein Solarfloß, erweiterte Angebote im Wassertouristischen Zentrum Schwedt/Oder, Beobachtungsplattformen, dreisprachige Informationstafeln, Multimediaangebote und Publikationen, das sind wesentliche Bausteine. Mit den Wasserwanderern wird eine neue Zielgruppe angesprochen. Zu erwartende neue wirtschaftliche Impulse lassen die Bewohner auf beiden Seiten der Oder stärker als bislang zu Partnern werden und verbinden sie mit den Besuchern.
Der Bekanntheitsgrad des „Unteren Odertal“ wird durch innovative Marketingmaßnahmen erhöht. So ist eine Serie von Beiträgen für deutsche und polnische Reisezeitschriften geplant sowie geeignete Maßnahmen für die Großräume und touristischen Quellmärkte Berlin und Szczecin. Dazu gilt es insbesondere, die immer größer werdende Zielgruppe der Naturerlebnis-Interessierten, mit entsprechenden Angeboten zu gewinnen. Naturliebhaber verstehen einzigartige Naturerlebnisse ohne Grenze zunehmend als Alternative zu touristischen Ballungszentren und wertschätzen die Einzigartigkeit des Naturraumes durch ihren Besuch.
Von besonderer Bedeutung sind Angebote für Kinder und junge Menschen im Rahmen einer erlebnisorientierten Umweltbildung, die für ökologisch sinnvolles Handeln künftig handelnder Generationen einen Grundstein legt.
Im Rahmen des neuen Projekts wird das Bewusstsein der Akteure für ein gemeinsames Natur- und Kulturerbe gestärkt, die gegenseitige Neugier und Akzeptanz gefördert und die Bereitschaft erhöht, miteinander gemeinsame Aktivitäten zu entwickeln und umzusetzen. Dazu werden neue Kommunikationsformen und -wege genutzt, z.B. durch die Einbindung der lokalen Bevölkerung auf beiden Seiten der Oder, z. B. im Rahmen von Workshops für regionale deutsche und polnische Lehrende und Naturführer. In das Projekt werden neue Partner eingebunden wie der Tourismusverein „Nationalpark Unteres Odertal“ als Berater sowie Städte und Gemeinden auf beiden Seiten der Oder, die insbesondere den Aufbau der Naturraum- und Ressourcen schonenden wassertouristischen Infrastruktur begleiten. Ziel ist es, die einzigartige deutsch-polnische Naturwelt entlang des Flusses der breiteren Öffentlichkeit auf interessante und nachhaltige Art und Weise zugänglich zu machen und gleichzeitig ihren Charakter und die Schutzgüter zu bewahren.
Um die naturräumliche Einheit „Unteres Odertal“ mit Tieflandstrom, naturnaher Flussauenlandschaft, angrenzenden Oderhängen und eiszeitlich geprägter Hügellandschaft mit naturnahen Wäldern und artenreichen Wiesen zu erhalten und zu schützen sowie diese durch nachhaltige, Ressourcen schonende Tourismusentwicklung in Wert zu setzen, ist die länderübergreifende Zusammenarbeit die notwendige Voraussetzung. Die räumliche Abgrenzung des Projektgebiets wird weitgehend durch den Nationalpark „Unteres Odertal“ und die Landschaftsschutzparke Dolina Dolnej Odry und Cedynia bestimmt. Die Flächenkulisse umfasst ca. 50.000 ha von den Toren Szczecins bis südlich des Grenzübergangs Hohenwutzen/ Osinów Dolny.

Schwedt nad Odrą i Park Narodowy Doliny Dolnej Odry oraz Zespół Parków Krajobrazowych Województwa Zachodniopomorskiego podjęły wspólnie inicjatywę przygotowania nowatorskiego polsko-niemiecki projektu, mającego na celu rozwój turystyki wodnej w regionie. Partnerzy podejmują wyzwanie, polegające na dotarciu do nowych grup docelowych, poprzez poprawę transgranicznej dostępności naturalnego obszaru DDO, co przyczyni się do zrównoważonego rozwoju całego regionu.
Projekt pt. „Zrównoważona turystyka wodna w unikalnej Dolinie Dolnej Odry” nawiązuje do poprzednich wspólnie zrealizowanych, udanych pl-de projektów. Celem jest kontynuacja transgranicznego, zrównoważonego rozwoju turystyki poprzez stworzenie nowej infr. dla turystyki wodnej oraz wspólne działania promocyjne i marketingowe. Głównymi zamierzeniami projektowymi są: stworzenie sieci naturalnych miejsc odpoczynku, zakup tratwy solarnej, rozszerzenie oferty Centrum Turystyki Wodnej, budowa wież widokowych, opracowanie trójjęzycznych tablic informacyjnych, udostępnienie zwiedzającym bogatej oferty mult. oraz wydanie publikacji. Gł. grupą docelową projektu są "turyści wodni”. Oczekiwane impulsy gosp. sprzyjać będą tworzeniu wspólnych inicjatyw gosp., a także umożliwią nawiązywanie kontaktów z gośćmi odwiedzającymi region.
Popularność regionu DDO wzrośnie dzięki innowacyjnej kampanii marketingowej. W ramach projektu wydania ma zostać seria artykułów dla pl i de magazynów podróżniczych, a także podjęte odpowiednie działania, mające na celu trafienie do mieszkańców dużych miasta, a także na rynki turystyczne Berlina i Szczecina. Jednym z zadań jest pozyskanie coraz większej grupy docelowej, zainteresowanej pobytem na łonie dziewiczej natury, co możliwe będzie dzięki zapewnieniu interesującej i odpowiedniej oferty turyst. Dla miłośników przyrody wypoczynek na łonie natury, wyjątkowość tutejszego naturalnego krajobrazu oraz swobodna możliwość przekraczania granic, stają się alternatywą do spędzania urlopu w turystycznych miastach. Szczególnie ważne jest stworzenie oferty dla dzieci i młodzieży – planowane działania w sferze edukacji ekologicznej polegać będą na bezpośrednim przeżywaniu natury, co ma zachęcić do działania na rzecz ochrony środ. oraz przyjęcie za nie odpowiedzialności w przyszłości. W ramach projektu wzmocniona zostanie świadomość podmiotów regionalnych na temat wspólnego dziedzictwa naturalnego i kulturowego, promowana będzie wzajemna akceptacja i „ciekawości sąsiadem”, a także rozwijane i wdrażane kolejne pl-de pomysły. Projekt zakłada użycie nowych środków komunikacji, np. zaangażowania mieszkańców podczas przeprowadzania warsztatów tematycznych skierowanych do pl i de przewodników wycieczek. W realizację projektu zaangażowani zostaną nowi partnerzy, np. Stowarzyszenie turystyczne „Park Narodowy Doliny Dolnej Odry” jako konsultant, a także miasta i gminy po obu stronach Odry, które wspierać będą tworzenie wodno-turystycznej infr., przy jednoczesnym poszanowaniu środowiska natur. oraz oszczędnym wykorzystywaniu dostępnych zasobów. Celem jest udostępnienie szerszej publiczności w sposób ciekawy, ale i zrównoważony, unikalnego pl-de naturalnego obszaru zalewowego w dolinie rzeki Odry, zachowując jednocześnie jej charakter i bogactwa naturalne. W celu ochrony i zachowania tego obszaru – jego zalewowego krajobrazu, przyległych zboczy rzeki, ukształtowanego przez lodowiec pagórkowatego krajobrazu wraz z naturalnymi lasami i bogatymi w faunę i florę łąkami, jak również w celu zapewnienia dalszego, zrównoważonego rozwój turystyki w regionie, niezbędna jest międzynarodowa współpraca. Obszar, na którym realizowany będzie niniejszym projekt w znacznej mierze pokrywa się z granicami PN "Dolina Dolnej Odry"oraz parków należących do ZPK Doliny Dolnej Odry i Cedyńskiego PK. Cały obszar obejmuje ok. 50.000 ha, od bram Szczecina w kierunku południowym, aż do przejścia granicznego Hohenwutzen/Osinów Dolny.

The national park town of Schwedt/Oder, the Lower Odertal National Park and the Polish association of landscape conservation parks of the West Pomerania Voivodeship initiate a joint innovative German-Polish water tourism project. The partners face the challenge of reaching new target groups by improving the cross-border experience of the Lower Odertal natural area and thus strengthening the region through value creation.
The project “Sustainable water tourism in the unique Lower Odertal” is linked to the partners’ previous successful German-Polish projects. The aim is to continue the cross-border sustainable tourism development through new water tourism infrastructure and joint marketing. A network of natural rest areas along the waterways, a solar raft, extended offers in the water tourism centre Schwedt/Oder, observation platforms, trilingual information boards, multimedia offers and publications, these are essential building blocks. With the water hikers a new target group is addressed. Expected new economic impulses make the residents on both sides of the Oder stronger than previously partners and connect them with the visitors.
The awareness of the “Lower Odertal” is increased by innovative marketing measures. A series of contributions for German and Polish travel magazines is planned as well as suitable measures for the large areas and tourist source markets Berlin and Szczecin. In particular, it is important to attract the ever-increasing target group of those interested in nature with corresponding offers. Nature lovers increasingly see unique nature experiences without borders as an alternative to tourist conurbations and appreciate the uniqueness of the natural area through their visit.
Of particular importance are offers for children and young people in the context of experience-oriented environmental education, which lays a foundation for ecologically meaningful action by future generations.
The new project will increase stakeholders’ awareness of a common natural and cultural heritage, promote mutual curiosity and acceptance, and increase the willingness to develop and implement joint activities. For this purpose, new forms of communication and pathways are used, e.g. through the involvement of the local population on both sides of the Oder, e.g. in workshops for regional German and Polish teachers and nature guides. The project involves new partners such as the tourism association “National Park Unteres Odertal” as consultants as well as cities and municipalities on both sides of the Oder, which in particular accompany the development of natural space and resources-friendly water tourism infrastructure. The aim is to make the unique German-Polish natural world along the river accessible to the wider public in an interesting and sustainable way, while preserving its character and protected property.
In order to preserve and protect the natural space unit “Unteres Odertal” with lowland stream, natural river meadows, adjoining order slopes and glacial hilly landscape with natural forests and species-rich meadows, as well as valued by sustainable, resource-friendly tourism development, cross-border cooperation is the necessary prerequisite. The landscape covers approximately 50.000 ha from the gates of Szczecin to the south of the border crossing Hohenwutzen/Osinów Dolny.

Expected Outputs (DE): Mit der Umsetzung der Teilprojekte sind mehrere Projektergebnisse zu erwarten. Die neue touristische Infrastruktur, wie die Errichtung der Naturrastplätze soll mit den schon vorhandenen Wasser- und Radwegen verbunden werden. Dadurch wird ein Netz von naturverträglichen und spannenden Angeboten entstehen. Der Bekanntheitsgrad der Region sowie das Wissen über die Geschichte und deren gemeinsames Erbe wird erhöht (Infotafeln, Multimedialer Monitor, touristisch-didaktische Objekte). Durch zweisprachige Angebote (Veranstaltungen, Exkursionen) und Herausgabe mehrsprachiger Reiseführer und Artikel in Reisezeitschriften werden mehrere Zielgruppen europaweit angesprochen. Das Angebot in den Kleinstädten wird gleichzeitig mit der Nachfrage wachsen, was zur Steigerung der Lebensqualität der Bevölkerung führen wird. Während der de-pl Veranstaltungen werden die Toleranz und die gesellschaftliche Zusammenhalt gefördert. Es wird eine stärkere Integration von Menschen und Institutionen erwartet.
