Budatín-Strumień: cooperation in the borderland – stage 2

The project concerns the cooperation of the partner and the Lead Partner from the previous programming period. Its objective is to intensify the use of cultural and natural heritage by the tourists and residents of the borderland region in a sustainable manner. We aim to achieve this through 5 substantive tasks of the project. The target groups are residents and visitors of the Polish-Slovak borderland region. Under the project, the renovation and restoration of 2 cultural monuments which are located in the borderland will be carried out: – the oldest town hall in Silesia and an outbuilding near the castle in Budatín which is currently closed due to poor technical condition. The project will allow to carry out the renovation of cultural heritage sites. In the case of Budatín Castle, it will also make it accessible to the public. A multimedia room will be organised in the renovated rooms of the town hall in Strumień, where a seminar devoted to the presentation of cultural tourism will be held. The renovated rooms of the outbuilding near the Budatín Castle will house an exhibition of tinker craft in its traditional and artistic form. A mobile application in 3 language versions (Slovak, Polish and English) will be available, including information about cultural heritage sites and events in the border region (in the Žilina Region and in Strumień). All the above will broaden the knowledge and then enhance the use of cultural and natural heritage of the region by tourists and its residents. The application will be available for download on the websites of both partners. The activities under the project include: Polish-Slovak days of craft in Budatín and the International Day of Tradition in Strumień, which will help to discover traditional folk customs and crafts as well as folklore of each region. The project will also benefit the local communities as they will be able to enhance their cultural and social ties and receive an extensive offer allowing them to spend their free time in an interesting way.

Projekt nawiązuje do współpracy partnera i Partnera Wiodącego z poprzedniego okresu programowania. Jego celem jest intensyfikacja wykorzystania dziedzictwa kulturowego i przyrodniczego przez osoby odwiedzające i mieszkańców regionu pogranicza w zrównoważony sposób. Chcemy osiągnąć to poprzez 5 zadań merytorycznych projektu. Grupami docelowymi są mieszkańcy i osoby odwiedzające region polsko-słowackiego pogranicza. W ramach realizacji projektu odbędą się renowacja i remont 2 zabytków kultury, znajdujących się na terenie pogranicza: ratusza w Strumieniu - najstarszego ratusza na całym Śląsku i budynku gospodarczego przy zamku w Budatínie, obecnie zamkniętego ze względu na zły stan techniczny. Realizacja projektu pozwoli przeprowadzić renowację zabytków kultury. W przypadku zamku w Budatínie pozwoli też udostępnić go. W wyremontowanych pomieszczeniach ratusza w Strumieniu powstanie sala multimedialna, w której odbędzie się seminarium poświęcone prezentacji turystyki kulturowej. W wyremontowanych pomieszczeniach budynku gospodarczego przy zamku w Budatínie powstanie ekspozycja rzemiosła druciarskiego, w jego tradycyjnej i artystycznej formie. Aplikacja mobilna, w 3 wersjach językowych (po słowacku, polsku i angielsku) zawierająca informacje na temat zabytków kultury i wydarzeń w regionie pogranicza (w województwie žilinskim i w mieście Strumień). Wszystko to wzbogaci wiadomości, a następnie wzmocni wykorzystanie dziedzictwa kulturowego i przyrodniczego regionu pogranicza przez osoby odwiedzające i mieszkańców. Aplikację będzie można ściągnąć ze stron internetowych obu partnerów. Działania projektu jak np.: Polsko-słowackie dni rzemiosła w Budatínie i Międzynarodowy Dzień Tradycji w Strumieniu pomogą wzajemnie poznać tradycyjne ludowe zwyczaje i rzemiosła, a także folklor. Realizacja projektu będzie korzyścią dla społeczności lokalnych, bo wzmocnią swoją tożsamością kulturową i społeczną, i otrzymają rozbudowaną ofertę pozwalającą na interesujące spędzanie wolnego czasu.

Projekt nadväzuje na spoluprácu partnera a vedúceho partnera z predošlého programového obdobia. Cieľom projektu je zintenzívniť využívanie kultúrneho a prírodného dedičstva návštevníkmi a obyvateľmi cezhraničného trvalo udržateľnou formou. Uvedený cieľ plánujeme dosiahnuť prostredníctvom 5 vecných úloh projektu. Cieľovými skupinami v projekte sú obyvatelia a návštevníci cezraničného poľsko – slovenského regiónu. V rámci realizácie projektu dôjde k obnove a rekonštrukcii 2 kultúrnych pamiatok v cezhraničí. Jedná o radnicu v Strumieni, ktorá je najstaršou radnicou v celom Sliezsku a hospodársku budovu v Budatínskom zámku, ktorá je momentálne kvôli zlému technickému stavu uzatvorená. Realizáciou projektu dosiahneme obnovu kultúrnych pamiatok a v prípade Budatínskeho zámku aj jej sprístupnenie. V zrekonštruovaných priestoroch radnice v Strumieni vznikne multimediálna miestnosť, v ktorej sa bude konať seminár zameraný na prezentáciu kultúrneho turizmu. V rekonštruovaných priestoroch hospodárskej budovy Budatínskeho zámku vznikne expozícia drotárskeho remesla v jeho pôvodných aj umeleckých prejavoch. Mobilná aplikácia vytvorená v 3 jazykových mutáciách (slovenčina, poľština, angličtina) bude obsahovať informácie o kultúrnych pamiatkach a podujatiach v cezhraničnom regióne (Žilinskom kraji a obci Strumień). Uvedené prispeje k zvýšeniu informovanosti a následne aj k zintenzívneniu využívania kultúrneho a prírodného dedičstva cezhraničia návštevníkmi a obyvateľmi. Aplikácia bude prístupná na stiahnutie na webových sídlach obidvoch partnerov. Aktivity projektu ako Stretnutie drotárskych majstrov v Budatíne a Medzinárodný deň tradície v Strumieni prispejú k vzájomnému spoznávaniu tradičných ľudových zvykov, remesiel a folklóru. Realizácia projektu bude prínosom aj pre miestne komunity, ktoré posilnia svoju kultúrnu a spoločenskú identitu a zároveň budú mať rozšírenú ponuku na kvalitné využívanie voľného času.

As part of the project, two cultural monuments located in the border area have been renovated and renovated: the town hall in Strumień – the oldest town hall in Silesia and the farm building next to the castle in Budatín. In Budatín, Polish-Slovak craft days and in Struń the International Day of Tradition were organised, during which you could learn about traditional folk customs, crafts and folklore. All this was enriched by a mobile application with information on cultural monuments and events in the region. Project successes Town Hall in Strumień The town hall is the most interesting monument of Strumień. It was built in 1628 and rebuilt in Baroque style at the end of the 18th century. It burned down in a large city fire in 1793, but was quickly rebuilt thanks to the support of Prince Albert of Saxony and Teschen. Originally the building had two floors, in the 19th century a third floor was added, but the style was preserved. The beauty of the town hall is determined by the tower with an interestingly shaped cornice under which four dials are attached. The tower is covered with a spherical dome with tower tip. The oldest part of the town hall is its barrel vaulted cellars. They house the “Galeria pod Ratuszem”. The town hall itself is home to the town hall, the city council and the registry office. Years ago, one-storey apartment buildings bordered on the town hall. They surrounded the entire marketplace. We owe their present form to reconstructions in the 19th century, but a trained eye recognises traces of Baroque design. As part of the project, the facade was modernised by clearing the existing facade of dirt, filling faults and carrying out painting work. The wooden window carpentry has been renovated. The meeting room was converted into a multimedia room and equipped with new multimedia installations and devices. Budatyn Castle The Budatin Castle, managed by the Powask Museum in Žilina, offers its visitors the exhibitions “History of Žilina” and “Historical Interiors” after completion of the reconstruction work. Interesting are the collection of execution swords, objects of artisans who founded craftsmen in the area of Žilina, and hunting trophies in the hunting house. The Čákiho dining room displays antique furniture and tableware from the 18th to 20th centuries. The tower of Budatyn Castle contains many curiosities and historical facts. On the individual floors there are exhibitions on the history of the castle, an exhibition of historical maps, a picture gallery, a clock exhibition and the tour is complemented by a view of the city of Žilina and the surrounding area. The new permanent exhibition of the Powask Museum in Budatyn Castle on the history of the unique Slovak phenomenon of crafting presents the history and material testimonies of the original craftsmanship from its nomadic beginnings to factory production, presents the entrepreneurial achievements of Slovak craftsmen abroad and the craftsmanship they have made famous all over the world. The world. As part of the project, the entire outbuilding of the castle in Budatín has been renovated – the ground floor, the first floor, the stairs from the ground floor to the first floor as well as the roof tower and roofing have been replaced.

Rezultatu Programu, do którego przyczynia się realizacja projektu to: Docenienie dziedzictwa przyrodniczego i kulturowego pogranicza przez lokalną ludność; Docenienie dziedzictwa przyrodniczego i kulturowego pogranicza przez turystów spoza obszaru. Drugim zabytkiem, w którym zostanie przeprowadzony remont, jest barokowy ratusz miejski w Strumieniu, będący najstarszym działającym ratuszem na terenie województwa śląskiego. W Ratuszu powstanie sala multimedialna, która będzie wykorzystywana na potrzeby społeczności oraz na wydarzenia kulturalne na pograniczu. Wymienione zabytki również po zakończeniu projektu będą służyły promowaniu dziedzictwa kulturowego pogranicza. Aplikację mobilną będzie można bezpłatnie ściągnąć ze stron internetowych partnerów. Zostanie opracowana w polskiej, słowackiej i angielskiej wersji językowej. Będzie ona zawierała przegląd najciekawszych obiektów dziedzictwa kulturowego i wydarzeń na terenie Žilinskiego kraju oraz miasta Strumienia i w jego pobliżu. Rozszerzona oferta wykorzystania wyremontowanych zabytków kultury przyczyni się do ich intensywniejszego wykorzystania.

Výsledok Programu, k realizácii ktorého prispieva projekt: Úroveň povedomia miestneho obyvateľstva o prírodnom a kultúrnom dedičstve; Úroveň povedomia návštevníkov o prírodnom a kultúrnom dedičstve cezhraničného územia. Hlavným výsledkom projektu sú 2 zrekonštruované kultúrne pamiatky v cezhraničnom poľsko-slovenskom regióne, mobilná aplikácia, "mäkké aktivity projektu". Jedná sa o hospodársku budovu Budatínskeho zámku, ktorá je momentálne pre zlý technický stav neprístupná pre verejnosť. V Budatínskom zámku bude verejnosti sprístupnená jedinečná zbierka drotárskeho remesla v jeho pôvodných aj umeleckých prejavoch. Druhou zrekonštruovanou pamiatkou je baroková mestská radnica v Strumieni, ktorá je najstaršou v Sliezskom vojvodstve. V radnici bude vytvorená multikultúrna miestnosť, ktorá bude využívaná na spoločenské a kultúrne podujatia v cezhraničí. Uvedené pamiatky budú aj po ukončení projektu slúžiť na propagáciu kultúrneho dedičstva cezhraničia. Rozšírené ponuka využitia zrekonštruovaných kultúrnych pamiatok prispeje k ich intenzívnejšiemu využitiu.
