Ziel des Projekts „Watten-Agenda 2.0“ ist die grenzübergreifende Entwicklung und Umsetzung eines umweltverträglichen und nachhaltigen Tourismus zum Erhalt und Schutz des Ökosystems Wattenmeer. Mit neuen konkreten Zielen und acht innovativen Maßnahmen baut das Projekt auf dem Vorgängerprojekt „Watten-Agenda“ auf und strebt damit die nächste Qualitätsstufe in der grenzübergreifenden Wattenmeerzusammenarbeit an. Die strategische Grundlage für das Projekt bildet die Strategie „Nachhaltiger Tourismus in der Destination Weltnaturerbe Wattenmeer“, die in 2014 entwickelt wurde und sich aktuell in der Überarbeitung befindet; die „Watten-Agenda 2.0“ greift diese bereits auf. Die Umsetzung der „Watten-Agenda 2.0“ erfolgt durch ein Konsortium aus sechs Partnerorganisationen aus den Bereichen Wattenmeerschutz und Tourismus. Verschiedene Zielgruppen und Stakeholder werden in der 42-monatigen Projektlaufzeit in die Entwicklung, Erprobung und in den Transfer der innovativen Formate für die Wattenmeerregion eingebunden.

Doel van het project 'Wadden-Agenda 2.0' is het ontwikkelen en realiseren van een grensoverschrijdend milieuvriendelijk en duurzaam toerisme waarbij het ecosysteem Waddenzee behouden en beschermd blijft. Met nieuwe, concrete doelstellingen en acht innovatieve maatregelen vormt dit project een voortzetting van het project 'Wadden-Agenda'. Het streven is om de grensoverschrijdende samenwerking in het Waddenzeegebied hiermee naar een kwalitatief hoger plan te tillen. Het project is gebaseerd op de strategie 'Duurzaam toerisme in de bestemming werelderfgoed Waddenzee', die in 2014 is ontwikkeld en momenteel wordt herzien; 'Wadden-Agenda 2.0' pakt deze strategie al op. De uitvoering van 'Wadden-Agenda 2.0' is in handen van een consortium dat bestaat uit zes partnerorganisaties op het gebied van bescherming van de Waddenzee en van toerisme. Gedurende de looptijd van het project, die 42 maanden zal beslaan, zullen diverse doelgroepen en belanghebbenden worden betrokken bij het ontwikkelen, testen en implementeren van innovatieve formaten voor de Waddenzeeregio.

Description (EN):

Aim of the project "Wadden Agenda 2.0" is the cross-border development and implementation of environmentally and sustainable tourism for the preservation and protection of the Wadden Sea ecosystem. With new concrete goals and eight innovative measures, the project builds on the predecessor project "Watten Agenda" and thus aims for the next level of quality in cross-border Wadden Sea cooperation. The strategic basis for the project is the strategy "Sustainable tourism in the Wadden Sea World Heritage Destination", which was developed in 2014 and is currently under revision; the "Wadding Agenda 2.0" already takes up this. The implementation of the "Wadden Agenda 2.0" is carried out by a consortium of six partner organizations from the areas of Wadden Sea Conservation and Tourism. Various target groups and stakeholders will be involved in the development, testing and transfer of the innovative formats for the Wadden Sea Region during the 42-month project duration.
