NL organisations are initiators of Leonardo da Vinci Innovation. The Leonardo da Vinci Year 2019 will be the occasion to take the traditional manufacturing industry in the border area and the development to the smart industry as a background: - to achieve a permanent attention for the world of technology; - to draw attention to the border region as a promising, innovative region. Preliminary studies show that the regional economy will get a high demand for technically qualified personnel in the futurte and that the attractive offer of the regional economy for technical specialists is little known even by its own population. With the Leonardo da Vinci innovation programme, we want to use the themes of youth, technology, creativity and participation to solve these problems: Youth: To draw the attention of the primary school pupils through specific programmes (workshops, technology days, talent weeks, etc.) to the topic of technology and innovation and to bring them in contact to the University of Applied Sciences (Junge Universität, Wohnen auf dem Wasser and IJzerwijs). - Technology: To contact schoolchildren and students with innovative companies in the region in order to promote the attractiveness of the region for graduates (Talentgarten, Techniktag). - Creativity: Promoting the technical and innovative potential of the regional economy (Fabrik 2.0 and Kunst & Handwerk) - Participation: Concentration on innovation and technology for broad sections of the population (public events) - Year of Leonardo da Vinci: Leonardo da Vinci as a source of inspiration and symbol for achieving the goals. The paths are organised under the direction of the Leonardo Project Office. They complement each other and pursue the same goal: to present technology and innovation as well as the potential of the economy on both sides of the border accessible and creative.

Oude IJsselstreek, Bocholt, CIVON en andere D / NL organisaties waren initiatiefnemers van Leonardo da Vinci Innovation. Het Leonardo da Vinci jaar 2019 zal aanleiding zijn om met als achtergrond de traditionele maakindustrie in het grensgebied en de ontwikkeling naar Smart-Industry: - permanente aandacht voor de wereld van de techniek te realiseren - de grensregio als perspectiefvolle, innovatieve regio op de kaart te zetten. Uit vooronderzoek bleek dat het regionale bedrijfsleven grote behoefte zal krijgen aan technisch gekwalificeerd personeel en dat het aantrekkelijk aanbod dat het regionale bedrijfsleven te bieden heeft voor technische vakkrachten, ook bij de eigen bevolking weinig bekend is. Met het programma van Leonardo da Vinci Innovation willen we daar wat aan doen aan de hand van de thema’s Jeugd, Techniek, Creativiteit en Participatie: Jeugd: (basisschool)leerlingen door concrete trajecten (workshops, techniekdagen, talentweken e.d.) attent maken op het thema techniek en innovatie en in contact brengen met de hogeschool (Jeugduniversiteit, Wonen op het water en IJzerwijs) Techniek: studenten en leerlingen in contact brengen met innovatieve bedrijven in de regio om de aantrekkingskracht van de regio voor afstudeerders te bevorderen (Talententuin, Techniekdag) Creativiteit: de technische en innovatieve potenties van het regionale bedrijfsleven bevorderen (Industrie 4.0 en Kunst & Handwerk) Participatie: voor brede delen van de bevolking focus leggen op innovatie en techniek (Publieksmanifestaties) Jaar van Leonardo da Vinci: Leonardo da Vinci als inspiratiebron en symbool voor het bereiken van de doelstellingen. De trajecten worden georganiseerd onder regie van het Leonardo projectbureau. Zij vullen elkaar aan en volgen dezelfde doelstelling: op een laagdrempelige en creatieve manier worden techniek en innovatie en het potentieel van het bedrijfsleven aan beide kanten van de grens gepresenteerd.

Das Leonardo da Vinci-Jahr 2019 bietet die Gelegenheit, die traditionelle Fertigungsindustrie im Grenzgebiet und die Entwicklung zur Smart-Industrie als Hintergrund zu nehmen, um: - eine dauerhafte Aufmerksamkeit für die Welt der Technik zu erzielen. - die Grenzregion als vielversprechende, innovative Region auf die Bildfläche zu bringen. Voruntersuchungen zeigen, dass die regionale Wirtschaft einen hohen Bedarf an technisch qualifiziertem Personal haben wird und dass das attraktive Angebot der regionalen Wirtschaft für technische Fachkräfte auch der eigenen Bevölkerung wenig bekannt ist. Mit dem Innovationsprogramm Leonardo da Vinci wollen wir durch die Themen Jugend, Technologie, Kreativität und Partizipation etwas dagegen tun: Jugend: Die Grundschüler durch spezifische Programme (Workshops, Technologietage, Talentwochen usw.) auf das Thema Technik und Innovation aufmerksam zu machen und sie mit der Fachhochschule (Junge Universität, Wohnen auf dem Wasser und IJzerwijs) in Kontakt zu bringen. Technik: Kontaktaufnahme von Schülern und Studenten mit innovativen Unternehmen in der Region, um die Attraktivität der Region für Absolventen zu fördern (Talentgarten, Techniktag). Kreativität: Förderung des technischen und innovativen Potenzials der regionalen Wirtschaft (Industrie 4.0 und Kunst & Handwerk) Beteiligung: Konzentration auf Innovation und Technologie für breite Bevölkerungsschichten (öffentliche Veranstaltungen) Jahr des Leonardo da Vinci: Leonardo da Vinci als Inspirationsquelle und Symbol für die Erreichung der Ziele. Die Wege werden unter der Leitung des Leonardo-Projektbüros organisiert. Sie ergänzen sich gegenseitig und verfolgen das gleiche Ziel: Technologie und Innovation sowie das Potenzial der Wirtschaft auf beiden Seiten der Grenze zugänglich und kreativ zu präsentieren.

Achievements (EN):

The successful Leonardo da Vinci Innovation project is officially over. During the project period many new connections have been established, there were many encounters and many new ideas were developed. The cooperation of the project partners was very good and all indicated that cross-border cooperation was particularly positive and a great enrichment. Therefore, many project partners indicate that further cooperation is expected after the funding phase.

Das erfolgreiche Projekt Leonardo da Vinci Innovation ist offiziell beendet. Während der Projektlaufzeit sind viele neue Verbindungen gelegt worden, gab es viele Begegnungen und es wurden viele neue Ideen entwickelt. Die Zusammenarbeit der Projektpartner war sehr gut und alle gaben an, dass gerade die grenzüberschreitende Zusammenarbeit positiv und als große Bereicherung empfunden wurde. Daher wird von vielen Projektpartnern angegeben, dass eine weitere Zusammenarbeit nach der Förderphase zu erwarten ist.
