IoA - Internet of Agriculture: Wireless Solutions for Digital Farming is a project within the framework of the strategic initiative "Agrobusiness & Food". The project aims to foster innovation of SMEs through collaborative R&D and to strengthen long-term cross-border competence networks, links and synergies between enterprises, research institutions and development centers. The cross-border pooling of competencies will enable effective value creation in the growing market for smart farming, IoT wireless technologies and special sensors in the region close to the border. The main objectives of the project are: - Better utilization of agricultural production - efficient farm management and more effective management - Optimization of high-quality and sustainable agricultural concepts - better documentation, resource, yield and crop management - Precise production through the use of high-quality environmental technologies - resource efficiency, occupational safety and quality assurance in the production of agricultural goods - promoting resource efficiency - water and resource savings - Cross-Over to the High-Tech Systems and Materials (HTSM) sector - Application of new technologies, promotion of digitization processes in agriculture ("Farming 4.0") The increased innovative strength in the border region, represented by the new products, helps to increase competitiveness, secure jobs and create new jobs. New sales markets will be tapped by the new products and promptly filled by the innovative companies in the region. Further companies and institutions from the fields of agriculture are invited as an associated partner to exchange knowledge and experience at an early stage of the project and thus create a sustainable competence network that goes beyond the project.

IoA - Internet of Agriculture: Wireless Solutions for Digital Farming is een project in het kader van het strategische initiatief "Agrobusiness & Food". Het project is gericht op innovatie van het MKB te bevorderen door middel van coöperatieve onderzoek en ontwikkeling en de versterking van de lange termijn, grensoverschrijdende netwerken van topkwaliteit, verbanden en synergiën tussen bedrijven, onderzoeksinstellingen en development centers. Door de grensoverschrijdende bundeling van expertise wordt m.b.v. radio technologieën en speciale sensoren, effectieve waarde creatie in groeimarkten rondom SmartFarming in het grensgebied mogelijk gemaakt. De belangrijkste doelstellingen van het project zijn: - Betere benutting van landbouwproductie - efficiënt landbouwbeheer en effectiever beheer - Optimalisatie van hoogwaardige en duurzame landbouwconcepten - betere documentatie, hulpbronnen, opbrengst- en gewasbeheer - Nauwkeurige productie door het gebruik van hoogwaardige milieutechnologieën - resource-efficiëntie, arbeidsveiligheid en kwaliteitsborging bij de productie van landbouwproducten - bevordering van efficiënt gebruik van hulpbronnen - besparing van water en hulpbronnen - cross-over naar de sector "High-Tech Systemen en Materialen (HTSM)" - toepassing van nieuwe technologieën, de bevordering van de digitalisering in de landbouw ( "Landbouw 4,0") De toegenomen innovatieve kracht in de grensregio, vertegenwoordigd door de nieuwe producten, helpt om het concurrentievermogen te vergroten, banen veilig te stellen en nieuwe banen te creëren. Nieuwe afzetmarkten zullen worden aangeboord door de nieuwe producten en door de innovatieve bedrijven in de regio snel worden gevuld. Meer bedrijven en instellingen op het gebied van de landbouw zullen in een vroeg stadium van het project worden uitgenodigd als associatie partners om kennis en ervaring te delen, het creëren van een duurzaam competentie-netwerk die verder gaat dan het project.

IoA – Internet of Agriculture: Wireless Solutions for Digital Farming ist ein Projekt im Rahmen der strategischen Initiative „Agrobusiness & Food“. Das Projekt dient der Förderung von Innovationen der KMU durch kooperative Forschung & Entwicklung und der Stärkung von langfristigen, grenzüberschreitenden Kompetenznetzwerken, Verbindungen und Synergien zwischen Unternehmen, Forschungseinrichtungen und Entwicklungszentren. Durch die grenzüberschreitende Bündelung der Kompetenzen wird eine effektive Wertschöpfung im Wachstumsmarkt rund um SmartFarming, IoT-Funktechnologien und Spezialsensoren in der grenznahen Region ermöglicht. Die im Vorhaben verfolgten zentralen Zielsetzungen betreffen: - Bessere Auslastung landwirtschaftlicher Erzeugung – effizientes Farmmanagement und effektivere Bewirtschaftung - Optimierung hochwertiger und nachhaltiger agrologistischer Konzepte – besseres Dokumentations-, Ressourcen-, Ertrags- und Erntemanagement - Präzise Produktion durch Anwendung hochwertiger Umwelttechnologien – Ressourceneffizienz, Arbeitssicherheit und Qualitätssicherung in der Produktion landwirtschaftlicher Güter - Förderung von Ressourceneffizienz – Wasser und Rohstoffeinsparungen - Cross-Over zum Sektor „Hightech Systems and Materials (HTSM)“ – Anwendung neuer Technologien, Förderung von Digitalisierungsprozessen in der Landwirtschaft („Farming 4.0“) Die verstärkte Innovationskraft in der Grenzregion, dargestellt durch die neuen Produkte, trägt dazu bei, die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit zu steigern, Arbeitsplätze zu sichern und neue Arbeitsplätze entstehen zu lassen. Neue Absatzmärkte werden durch die neuen Produkte erschlossen und frühzeitig durch die innovativen Unternehmen der Region besetzt. Weitere Firmen und Institutionen aus den Bereichen Landwirtschaft werden bereits in einer frühen Projektphase als assoziierte Partner zum Wissens- und Erfahrungsaustausch eingeladen und schaffen so ein über das Projekt hinausgehendes, nachhaltiges Kompetenznetzwerk.
