Description (FR): Le projet Sunpeople vise à relever les défis 2 et 3 de la zone du programme et à répondre à l’objectif spécifique
2.1 du programme FMA en :favorisant le développement et l’adoption d’un service énergétique de chaleur décarbonée dans les secteurs résidentiel et commercial, représentant environ un tiers des émissions de carbone de la zone ;stimulant l’innovation dans les PME en les associant au projet en tant que PP et parties prenantes, tout au long de la chaîne d’approvisionnement.L’objectif spécifique du projet est de démontrer et de tester sur 15 sites, à Plymouth et Lorient, un service énergétique de chaleur compétitif et durable, reposant sur les technologies de pompe à chaleur et solaires. Le potentiel de réduction des émissions de carbone de ce service sur ces sites a été estimé à 62,8 (respectivement 1.255) tonnes de carbone sur une période contractuelle d’1 an correspondant au projet (respectivement sur une période conventionnelle de 20 ans correspondant à la durée de vie d’un système).
Les principales réalisations du projet sont :l’engagement de 100 acteurs du marché du service énergétique, individus ou organisations, afin de recueillir des avis, d’améliorer la proposition de valeur du service et de diffuser les résultats du projet ;la démonstration technique et le test commercial d’1 service énergétique complet et fonctionnel, prêt à être mis en œuvre par des fournisseurs et adopté par leurs clients.L’approche transfrontalière du projet tire parti de fortes différences de contexte :
les PP anglais ont une expertise approfondie dans la conception, la mise en œuvre et la gestion de services énergétiques, ainsi qu’une expérience dans l’organisation de cycles d’investissement participatifs, à la fois en tant que conseil municipal et société citoyenne ;les PP français ont une large compréhension du marché des technologies bas-carbone, à la fois en tant qu’agence locale de l’énergie et PME innovante connectée à une chaîne d’approvisionnement expérimentée.Les PP et les parties prenantes mèneront conjointement des études de faisabilité, puis effectueront des démonstrations et des tests sur leurs sites respectifs, afin d’explorer le potentiel de marché du service énergétique avec l’aide d’acteurs du marché.
Dans le but de décarboner la chaleur, l’innovation-clé du projet consiste à démontrer et tester, sur 15 sites, un nouveau service énergétique, compétitif et durable, car reposant sur la complémentarité de technologies bas-carbone et ouvert aux nouveaux modèles de l’économie circulaire et collaborative.

The main outputs of the project are:the engagement of 100 energy service marketplace players, either individuals or organisations, in order to provide feedback, improve the service value proposition, and disseminate project results;the technical demonstration and commercial testing of 1 complete and functional energy service, ready to be implemented by providers and adopted by their customers.The project cross-border approach takes advantage of strong context differences:
English PPs have in-depth expertise in design, implementation and management of energy services, as well as experience in organising participatory investment rounds, both as city council and community energy organisations;French PPs have a broad market understanding for low-carbon technologies, both as local energy agency and innovative SME connected to an experimented supply chain.The PPs and stakeholders will jointly conduct feasibility studies, then perform demonstration/testing on their respective sites, to explore the market potential of the energy service with the help of market players.
In order to decarbonise heat, the key innovation of the project is to demonstrate and test, on 15 sites, a new energy service, cost-competitive and sustainable, thanks to the complementarity of its low-carbon technologies and its compatibility with the circular and collaborative economy.
