Het project InTiCosm heeft de grensoverschrijdende ontwikkeling van stoffen van biologische herkomst en hun gebruik in de samenstelling van cosmetica tot doel. Deze componenten, groene cargo’s genoemd, worden ontwikkeld op basis van moleculen die hoofdzakelijk afkomstig zijn van bioraffinaderijen in de Frans-Belgische grensstreek, met maximaal respect voor de principes van de groene chemie, met name door het gebruik van solventen en het aantal synthesestappen te verminderen. De verkregen moleculen worden gebruikt in de formulering van cosmetica. Er worden specifieke studies uitgevoerd om de efficiëntste en goedkoopste cargo’s te kiezen, die vervolgens kunnen worden getest bij ondernemingen van de Interreg-zone Frankrijk-Wallonië-Vlaanderen. Het project INTICOSM deelt in de gemeenschappelijke wens van de betrokken partners om als grensoverschrijdende actoren samen te werken op het gebied van de bio-economie voor de cosmetica.

Description (EN):

The InTiCosm project aims at the cross-border development of biosourced materials (of biological origin) and their use in the field of cosmetic formulation. These compounds, called green cargoes, are made from molecules obtained primarily from biorefineries in the Franco-Belgian region, respecting the principles of green chemistry as much as possible, in particular by reducing the use of solvents and the number of synthesis steps. The molecules obtained are used in cosmetic formulations. Specific studies are carried out to select the most efficient and least expensive cargoes, which can then be tested with manufacturers in the INTERREG France-Wallonia-Flanders area. The INTICOSM project reflects the joint interest of the partners involved to collaborate as cross-border stakeholders in the field of the bio-economy for cosmetics.

Le projet InTiCosm a pour objectifs le développement transfrontalier de matières biosourcées (d’origine biologique) et leur utilisation dans le domaine de la formulation de cosmétiques. Ces composés, appelés cargos verts, sont élaborés à partir de molécules issues prioritairement de bioraffineries de la région franco-belge en respectant au maximum les principes de la chimie verte, notamment en diminuant l'utilisation de solvants et le nombre d'étapes de synthèse. Les molécules obtenues sont utilisées en formulation de cosmétiques. Des études spécifiques sont effectuées pour choisir les cargos les plus efficaces et les moins coûteux qui peuvent ensuite être testés auprès d'industriels de la zone INTERREG France-Wallonie-Vlaanderen. Le projet INTICOSM participe à la volonté commune des partenaires impliqués de collaborer en tant qu’acteurs transfrontaliers dans le domaine de la bio-économie pour la cosmétique.

Expected Results (NL):

De grensoverschrijdende sensibiliseringsacties en de begeleiding van de ondernemingen zullen ook na het eind van het programma worden voortgezet. Het project moet de nieuwe samenwerkingen tussen deze complementaire teams permanent maken. Bovendien wordt ook verwacht dat er projectoverschrijdende samenwerkingen komen met andere ondernemingen van de zone.

Expected Results (EN):

Cross-border actions to raise awareness and support companies will continue after the end of the programme. The project has the effect of building on the new collaborations between these complementary teams. Prospects for collaboration beyond the project are also expected with other companies in the area.

Les actions transfrontalières de sensibilisation et d'accompagnement des entreprises seront poursuivies après la fin du programme. Le projet a pour effet de pérenniser les nouvelles collaborations entre ces équipes complémentaires. Des perspectives de collaboration au-delà du projet sont également attendues avec d'autres entreprises de la zone.

Expected Outputs (NL):

Per zijde zal één onderneming worden geselecteerd uit de ondernemingen die gesensibiliseerd zijn voor de technieken van de groene cosmetica. Er zal evenwel concrete steun worden geboden aan tien ondernemingen van de Interreg-zone. Ook een gebruik van de technologie in andere gebieden dan de cosmetica valt te overwegen. Master- en doctoraatsstudenten zullen baat hebben bij de interventies van de partners en de bezoeken.

Expected Outputs (EN):

One company on each side of the border will be selected from among companies already well versed in green cosmetics techniques. However, concrete support will be provided to 10 companies in the Interreg area. The use of the technology in fields other than cosmetics is also conceivable. Master students and doctoral candidates will benefit from talks given by the partners as well as from the visits.

Une entreprise par versant sera sélectionnée parmi les entreprises sensibilisées aux techniques de la cosmétique verte. Toutefois, un soutien concret sera apporté à 10 entreprises de la zone Interreg. Une utilisation de la technologie dans d'autres domaines que la cosmétique est également envisageable. Les étudiants de Master ainsi que doctorants bénéficieront des interventions réalisées par les partenaires ainsi que des visites.
