Le projet PEPS vise à développer des macromolécules mises en forme par impression 3D afin de répondre aux besoins des entreprises de manière appropriée et créative. Le but est de développer le potentiel transfrontalier des procédés de fabrications additives de polymères de type technique, d'élargir les possibilités des procédés de fabrications additifs et de les orienter vers de nouvelles applications industrielles. Cette approche globale transfrontalière est rendue possible en rassemblant les compétences et expertises complémentaires des partenaires PEPS dans de nombreux domaines. Des synergies sont donc attendues entre partenaires à chaque niveau d'action du projet.

Het project PEPS wil met 3D printing gevormde macromoleculen ontwikkelen om op een effectieve en creatieve manier te antwoorden op de behoeften van de bedrijven. Het doel is het grensoverschrijdende potentieel te ontwikkelen van additieve productieprocedés voor technische polymeren, de mogelijkheden van de additieve productieprocedés uit te breiden en ze in nieuwe industriële toepassingen te gebruiken. Deze grensoverschrijdende, globale aanpak wordt mogelijk gemaakt door de complementaire competenties en expertises van de PEPS-partners op talrijke gebieden samen te brengen. Er wordt dus een synergie verwacht tussen de partners op elk actieniveau van het project.

The PEPS project sets out to develop macromolecules realised by 3D printing in order to meet the needs of companies in an appropriate and creative way. The aim is to develop the cross-border potential of additive manufacturing processes for technical polymers, to broaden the possibilities of additive manufacturing processes and to steer them towards new industrial applications. This comprehensive cross-border approach is made possible by bringing together the complementary skills and expertise of PEPS partners in many areas. Synergies are therefore expected between partners at each level of action of the project.

Expected Results (FR):

Quatre collaborations transfrontalières seront encore effectives après la fin du projet. Les actions transfrontalières entreprises par les partenaires seront poursuivies au-delà du programme afin de les pérenniser. Ces collaborations pourraient prendre la forme de projets de recherche et également associer des entreprises de la zone.

Expected Results (NL):

Vier grensoverschrijdende samenwerkingen zullen na afloop van het project blijven bestaan. De grensoverschrijdende acties van de partners zullen ook na het programma worden voortgezet om ze een blijvend karakter te geven. Deze samenwerkingen zouden de vorm van onderzoeksprojecten kunnen krijgen en ondernemingen uit de zone verenigen.

Expected Results (EN):

Four cross-border collaborations will still be up and running after the end of the project. Cross-border actions undertaken by partners will be continued beyond the programme to allow them to take hold in the long term. These collaborations could take the form of research projects and also involve companies within the area.

Expected Outputs (FR):

Les actions de sensibilisation et de dissémination menées permettront d'apporter un soutien concret à 10 entreprises de la zone. Celui-ci se traduira par une mise en réseau, un conseil ciblé ou un accompagnement spécifique dans le secteur des polymères techniques mis en forme par impression 3D. Ces mêmes actions en amont permettront de sensibiliser environ 100 entreprises de la région transfrontalière.

Expected Outputs (NL):

Dankzij de sensibilisering- en verspreidingsacties zullen 10 ondernemingen uit de zone concrete steun krijgen. Dit zal zich vertalen in de opbouw van een netwerk, gericht advies of specifieke begeleiding in de sector van de met 3D printing gevormde technische polymeren. Vervolgens zullen deze acties ongeveer 100 ondernemingen in de grensstreek sensibiliseren.

Expected Outputs (EN):

Campaigns designed to raise awareness and disseminate results will provide concrete support to ten companies in the area. This support will translate into networking, targeted advice, or focused support in the field of technical polymers realised by 3D printing. These same upstream actions will raise awareness among around 100 companies in the cross-border region.
