Description (EN):

The main challenge of NOMADe is to improve the quality of preventive or curative solutions offered to populations in the cross-border area by reducing the gap between scientific knowledge from scientific laboratories and field stakeholders involved in Neuro-Musculoskeletal Disorders (NMDS). The aim is to ensure the transfer between theoretical knowledge and good clinical practice to field stakeholders with the objective of providing health benefits for populations. The solution devised to reduce this gap involves the development of an ecosystem - a set of entities interacting in a given environment - specialised in NMDS and structured around four poles: e-learning (online learning platform), Research and Development (development of standardised intelligent devices for evaluation, monitoring or revalidation of populations), expertise (clinical trials) and validation. Cross-border cooperation between the partners brought together by NOMADe contributes significant added value to the approaches currently existing on the three sides of the border because they boast strong and complementary mono-disciplinary expertise. The NOMADe project therefore aims to improve the living conditions of the populations of the France-Wallonia-Flanders cross-border area, through the improvement and sharing of training/education and equipment available to local stakeholders. The results collected within the framework of the project also feed into awareness campaigns aimed at the population suffering from such disorders.

De belangrijkste uitdaging voor NOMADe is het verbeteren van de kwaliteit van de preventieve of curatieve oplossingen die worden voorgesteld voor de bevolking in de grenszone door de bestaande kloof te verkleinen tussen de wetenschappelijke kennis die afkomstig is van wetenschappelijke laboratoria en de actoren op het terrein die betrokken zijn bij neuro-musculoskeletale aandoeningen (NMSA). Het gaat erom te zorgen voor de overdracht tussen kennis en goede theoretische klinische praktijken naar de actoren op het terrein met het oog op gezondheidswinst voor de bevolking. De voorgestelde oplossing om deze kloof te dichten, bestaat in het ontwikkelen van een ecosysteem - een reeks entiteiten die in een bepaalde omgeving samenwerken - dat gespecialiseerd is in NMSA's en dat opgebouwd is rond vier clusters: e-learning (online leerplatform), onderzoek en ontwikkeling (ontwikkeling van gestandaardiseerde intelligent devices voor de evaluatie, opvolging of revalidatie van de bevolking), expertise (klinische tests) en validering. De grensoverschrijdende samenwerking tussen de NOMADe-partners zal een belangrijke toegevoegde waarde hebben voor de benaderingen die momenteel aan de 3 zijden bestaan, omdat zij over een sterke en complementaire monodisciplinaire expertise beschikken. Het project NOMADe heeft dan ook de ambitie de levensomstandigheden van de bevolking van de grenszone Frankrijk-Wallonië-Vlaanderen te verbeteren door de opleiding/het onderwijs en de beschikbare uitrusting voor de terreinactoren te verbeteren en te bundelen. De in het kader van het project verzamelde resultaten zullen ook worden gebruikt voor sensibiliseringscampagnes ten behoeve van de NMSA-patiënten.

Le défi principal de NOMADe est d’améliorer la qualité des solutions préventives ou curatives proposées aux populations dans la zone transfrontalière en réduisant l’écart existant entre les connaissances scientifiques émanant des laboratoires scientifiques et les acteurs de terrain impliqués dans les Troubles Neuro-Musculo-Squelettiques (TNMS). Il s’agit d’assurer le transfert entre les connaissances et bonnes pratiques cliniques théoriques vers les acteurs de terrain avec pour objectif d’un bénéfice de santé pour les populations. La solution proposée pour réduire cet écart passe par le développement d’un écosystème – ensemble d’entités interagissant dans un environnement donné – spécialisé dans les TNMS et structuré autour de quatre pôles: e-learning (plateforme d’apprentissage en ligne), Recherche et Développement (développement d’ « intelligent devices » standardisés d’évaluation, monitoring ou revalidation des populations), expertise (essais cliniques) et validation. La coopération transfrontalière entre les partenaires réunis par NOMADe apporte une importante plus-value aux approches existant actuellement sur les 3 versants car ces derniers possèdent des expertises mono-disciplinaires fortes et complémentaires. Le projet NOMADe ambitionne donc d’améliorer les conditions de vie des populations de la zone transfrontalière France-Wallonie-Vlaanderen, via une amélioration et une mutualisation de la formation/éducation et des équipements disponibles pour les acteurs de terrain. Les résultats collectés dans le cadre du projet alimentent également des campagnes de sensibilisation à destination de la population souffrant de tels troubles.

Expected Results (EN):

About 250 grassroots stakeholders are expected to sign up to the NOMADe platform. Creation of an online learning platform to better train the different stakeholders at grassroots and to facilitate interaction and communication between the grassroots stakeholders and the populations (patients). The R&D division will develop standardised intelligent devices for evaluating, monitoring or revalidating populations. The biopsychosocial expertise centre will make it possible to guarantee a comprehensive approach to the health problem of populations and set up clinical trials including populations from the 3 sides of the border, while respecting regional ethical aspects. The validation department will focus as much on the content of the learning platform as on digital devices. For the collaborative platforms, 6000 views on the website are expected; 100 platform testers and training modules will be developed.

Expected Results (NL):

Ongeveer 250 terreinactoren zouden zich op het platform van NOMADe moeten inschrijven. Creatie van een online leerplatform om de opleiding van de verschillende terreinactoren te verbeteren en de interactie en communicatie tussen de terreinactoren en de bevolking (patiënten) te bevorderen. De cluster O&O zal gestandaardiseerde 'intelligent devices' ontwikkelen voor de evaluatie, opvolging en revalidatie van de bevolking. De biopsychosociale expertisecluster zal een totaalaanpak van het gezondheidsprobleem van de bevolking garanderen en klinische proeven op zetten waarbij de bevolking aan de drie zijden wordt betrokken, met inachtneming van de regionale ethische aspecten. De valideringscluster zal zich zowel richten op de inhoud van het leerplatform als op digitale apparaten. Voor de samenwerkingsplatformen worden 6000 bezoeken aan de website verwacht; er zullen 100 testers van het platform zijn en er zullen opleidingsmodules worden ontwikkeld.

Environ 250 acteurs de terrain devraient s'inscrire à la plateforme NOMADe. Création d'une plateforme d'apprentissage en ligne pour mieux former les différents acteurs de terrain et de faciliter les interactions et la communication entre les acteurs de terrain et les populations (patients). Le pôle R&D développera des “intelligent devices” standardisés d’évaluation, de monitoring ou de revalidation des populations. Le pôle d’expertise biopsychosociale permettra de garantir une approche complète du problème de santé des populations et de mettre en place des essais cliniques incluant des populations des 3 versants, en respectant les aspects éthiques régionaux. Le pôle validation s’intéressera autant aux contenus de la plateforme d’apprentissage qu’aux dispositifs numériques. Pour les plateformes collabopratives, 6000 vues sur le site internet sont attendues; 100 testeurs de la plateforme et des modules de formation seront développés.

Improve the prevention and management of neuro-musculoskeletal disorders in the cross-border area: establishment of a cross-border ecosystem dedicated to NMSTs, including training for professionals in the medical and social sector, ensuring the development of intelligent devices specific to these disorders and providing an accessible information tool for the populations concerned.

De preventie en de zorg met betrekking tot NMSA’s in de grenszone verbeteren: implementatie van een specifiek grensoverschrijdend ecosysteem voor NMSA’s met inbegrip van een opleidingsaanbod voor de medisch-sociale zorgverleners, dat de ontwikkeling van specifieke intelligent devices voor deze stoornissen verzekert en een informatietool verstrekt die toegankelijk is voor de betreffende bevolking.

Améliorer la prévention ainsi que la prise en charge des troubles neuro-musculo-squelettiques dans la zone transfrontalière : mise en place d'un écosystème transfrontalier dédié aux TNMS incluant une offre de formation pour les professionnels du secteur médico-social, assurant le développement de "intelligent devices" spécifiques à ces troubles et fournir un outil d'information accessible aux populations concernées.
