This project arises from a common problem: the high level of noise pollution that affects the urban areas located between ports and logistics platforms. The general objective is to develop a cross-border strategy to reduce noise pollution in these areas through the adoption of traffic flow regularisation models to be applied to the land movement of goods. Noise pollution in these areas comes not only from port activities, but also from related logistics activities. TRIPLO will tackle the challenge of noise management by focusing on these highly populated areas exposing a high number of people to the risk of acoustic pollution. The project intends to propose an innovative approach. It will gather specific linguistic parameters to evaluate the exposed population’s perception of the phenomenon. It will also collect the usual physical parameters, through low-cost monitoring networks in 3 pilot areas (2 IT, 1 FR), affording real-time acoustic monitoring and the production of live noise maps, and integrate them with with the linguistic data. The most appropriate ITS solutions will be identified based on these data, in addition to complementary measures to reduce noise pollution. A Joint Strategic Plan will collect these results, one of TRIPLO’s primary outcomes. Strategies and solutions will be more effective thanks to the participation of the diversified key actors making up the TRIPLO partnership. The project’s sustainability challenge involves a series of awareness-raising initiatives to promote Strategic Plan measures and their inclusion in local governance tools.

TRIPLO naît d’une question commune: le niveau élevé de pollution sonore qui caractérise les zones entre les ports et les plates-formes logistiques en passant par les zones urbaines limitrophes. L'objectif général est la définition d’une stratégie transfrontalière pour réduire la pollution sonore dans ces domaines suite à l'adoption de modèles de régularisation des flux de trafic appliqués au mouvement des marchandises de terrain. En effet la pollution sonore dans ces aires ne vient pas seulement des activités portuaires, mais aussi de la logistique connectée. TRIPLO devra relever le défi de la gestion du bruit, en se concentrant sur ces aires qui représentent les zones les plus peuplées et donc celles qui exposent un plus grand nombre de personnes au risque de la pollution sonore. Le projet vise à proposer un approche innovant: des paramètres linguistiques spécifiques seront relevés pour évaluer la perception du phénomène de la part de la population exposée, ainsi que les paramètres physiques habituels, acquis par la mise en œuvre d'un réseau de surveillance avec des capteurs low cost en 3 zones pilotes (2 IT, 1 FR) pour une surveillance acoustique en temps réel et la production de cartes de bruit, intégrées avec les données linguistiques. A partir des données recueillies on identifiera le solutions STI les plus appropriées et d'autres mesures complémentaires visant à réduire la pollution sonore. Elles seront rassemblées dans un Plan Stratégique commun qui représente l’ output principal de TRIPLO. Les stratégies et les solutions proposées seront rendues plus efficaces puisqu’elles seront définies avec la participation d’acteurs clés diversifiés qui composent le partenariat de TRIPLO.Le défi lancé par le projet, dans le but de la durabilité, concerne l'activation d'une série d'initiatives de sensibilisation pour promouvoir l'intégration des mesures prévues par le Plan Stratégique dans les principaux outils de gouvernance du territoire

TRIPLO nasce da un problema comune: l’elevato livello d’inquinamento acustico che riguarda le aree comprese tra i porti e le piattaforme logistiche passando attraverso le aree urbane limitrofe. L’obiettivo generale è sviluppare una strategia transfrontaliera per ridurre l’inquinamento acustico in tali aree tramite l’adozione di modelli di regolarizzazione dei flussi di traffico da applicarsi alla movimentazione terrestre delle merci. Infatti, l’inquinamento acustico in queste aree non deriva solo dalle attività portuali, ma anche dalle attività logistiche collegate. TRIPLO affronterà la sfida della gestione del rumore concentrandosi su tali aree che rappresentano le zone più popolate e quindi quelle che espongono al rischio di inquinamentoi acustico un più elevato numero di persone. Il progetto intende proporre un approccio innovativo. Saranno rilevati specifici parametri linguistici per valutare la percezione del fenomeno da parte della popolazione esposta, oltre che gli usuali parametri fisici, acquisiti grazie alla realizzazione di una rete di monitoraggio con sensori lowcost in 3 aree pilota (2 IT, 1 FR) per un monitoraggio acustico real-time e la produzione di mappe live del rumore, integrate con i dati linguistici. Sulla base dei dati raccolti si individueranno le soluzioni ITS più adeguate e altre misure complementari per la riduzione dell’inquinamento acustico. Esse verranno raccolte in un Piano Strategico congiunto, tra i principali output di TRIPLO. Le strategie e soluzioni proposte saranno rese più efficaci poiché definite con la partecipazione di una tipologia diversificata di attori chiave che compongono il partenariato di TRIPLO. La sfida lanciata dal progetto, nell’ottica della sostenibilità, riguarda poi l’attivazione di una serie di iniziative di sensibilizzazione volte a promuovere misure contenute nel Piano Strategico all’interno dei principali strumenti di governo del territorio.
