Pagrindinis projekto "Pagėgių ir Punsko bibliotekų ir kultūros paslaugų patrauklumo skatinimas" tikslas yra skatinti Pagėgių ir Punsko bibliotekininkų ir kitų kultūros darbuotojų bendradarbiavimą per bendrus mokymus, kultūrines veiklas ir patirties pasidalijimą. Projektą įgyvendins dvi institucijos - Pagėgių savivaldybės viešoji biblioteka ir Punsko valsčius, kurios yra atsakingos už viešųjų paslaugų (įskaitant kultūros) organizavimą ir teikimą savo gyventojams. Kultūros paslaugų vartotojų poreikiai šiandieninėje google, facebook ir pan. eroje keičiasi, todėl bibliotekininkai ir kiti kultūros darbuotojai taip pat turi neišvengiamai keistis, nes tradicinių kompetencijų jau nebegana. Tikimasi, jog per bendras veiklas sustiprės kultūros darbuotojų kompetencijos (bendri mokymai ir atviros diskusijos bus suorganizuotos); bus aptarti bendruomenių, kurios yra kultūros paslaugų naudotojos poreikiai ir galimi būdai pritraukti daugiau lankytojų į bibliotekas (per bendras veiklas ir diskusijas); bus rasti būdai, kaip būtų įmanoma padaryti kultūros paslaugas patrauklesnes; abiejų regionų bendruomenės naudosis išplėstomis kultūros paslaugomis - dalyvaus organizuotuose renginiuose ir atvirose diskusijose.

Description (EN):

Main objective of the project "Increasing attractiveness of Pagegiai and Puńsk libraries and cultural services" is to enhance cooperation of librarians and other cultural workers of Pagėgiai and Puńsk through joint trainings, exchange of experience and cultural activities. Project will be implemented by two institutions - Public library of Pagegiai municipality and Puńsk commune, which are responsible for organising and providing public service (including cultural) for their inhabitants. Needs of users of cultural services, in the era of google, facebook etc., changes, therefore librarians and other workers of the culture area have to change inevitably, as traditional competencies are not enough anymore. It is expected that though joint activities competencies of cultural workers will be increased (joint training and discussion will be organized); needs of communities being users of cultural services and possible ways to attract more people to libraries will be discussed (during joint events and discussions); possible solutions how to make cultural services more attractive will be found; communities of both regions will benefit from organised events and open discussions as well as expanded area of cultural services.

Głównym celem projektu "Wzrost atrakcyjności bibliotek i usług kulturalnych w Pagėgiai i Puńsku" jest wzmacnianie współpracy pomiędzy bibliotekarzami i innymi pracownikami kultury z Pagegiai i Puńska poprzez wspólne szkolenia, działalność kulturową i wymianę doświadczeń. Projekt będą realizowały dwie instytucje - Biblioteka Publiczna w Pagegiai i Gmina Puńsk, które są odpowiedzialne z organizowanie usług publicznych (wliczając w tym kulturowe) i podanie do publicznej wiadomości. Potrzeby kulturowe dzisiejszym usługobiorców w erze google, facebook i tak dalej, zmienia się, więc bibliotekarze i inni pracownicy kultury muszą też nieustannie się zmieniać, gdyż tradycyjnych komputerów już nie wystarcza. Oczekuje się, iż poprzez wspólne działania zostaną wzmocnione kompetencje pracowników kultury (zostaną zorganizowane wspólne szkolenia i otwartych dyskusje); będą omawiane potrzeby kulturowe społeczności i dostosowane do potrzeb użytkowników tak, aby przyciągnąć więcej odwiedzających do bibliotek (poprzez wspólne działania i dyskusje); zostaną odnalezione sposoby, aby świadczone usługi kulturowe były bardziej atrakcyjne; społeczności obydwu regionów będą miały możliwość korzystać z rozszerzonych usług kulturowych – będą uczestniczyć w organizowanych wydarzeniach i otwartych dyskusjach.

Achievements (EN):

Public services of Pagėgiai and Punsk libraries were expended by introducing new attractive method to present cultural identity of the cross-border region – new photography exhibitions were created and presented. 271 persons participated in joint trainings and events and 1614 persons visited the exhibitions.
