Le projet vise à faciliter les voyages depuis l’Espace Atlantique et à travers celui-ci, en utilisant une combinaison de transports publics locaux et de services de transport interrégionaux. Il s’agit d’une part, d’améliorer les connexions entre les transports publics locaux et les aéroports, les embarcadères et les gares, et d’autre part, de mettre en place des outils efficaces de planification et de réservation. Le travail de PARTNER est divisé en 7 volets, chacun étant dirigé par un partenaire différent. Chaque volet bénéficie de la participation de partenaires de cinq régions impliquées dans le projet.Le projet met en place les actions suivantes : Inventaire des transports public régionaux et de leurs connexions aux terminaux de transport international, mise en place de 15 projets pilotes et réalisation de 5 études démontrant les moyens d’améliorer les connexions intermodales, mise en place de systèmes d’information pour les voyageurs (standard, Internet), création d’une marque espace atlantique pour l’information sur les voyages, mise en place d’un forum transnational destiné aux autorités urbaines et régionales ainsi qu’aux aéroports régionaux.

Achievements (EN):

- Inventory of public transport services in the Atlantic Area. - State of the art information systems for users, promoting public transport and multi-modal electronic ticket sales. Work in common with the project ITISS (North West Europe Interreg IIIB) - Improvement of the connections between local public transport systems and national and international transport services: - Feasibility studies: maritime buses (baie de La Rochelle, de Rochefort, Ile de Ré/La Rochelle), new rail link for the port commercial de La Rochelle, reopening of the Halton Curve line to Liverpool (passengers + freight), cycle hire system in Santiago de Compostela. - Survey: analysis of the information requirements on transport in the 5 regions of the partnership. - Drafting of common questionnaires for the public surveys (ex-ante and ex-post) for trans-national passengers. - Advice on regulatory and institutional information and on looking for a sponsor. - Development of the brand name INTEGRA: Logo and visual for the website and all the brochures produced with multimodal tools set up as part of the project.
