Objectif général : Le projet CROIS vise à favoriser l’accès des jeunes à l’enseignement supérieur et à développer leur mobilité sociale dans les régions du Kent et de la Somme. Le projet propose ainsi de développer des activités en direction des jeunes du secondaire issus de milieux défavorisés, ainsi que leurs parents, afin d’améliorer leur perception vis-à-vis de l’université. Le projet CROIS vise également la réalisation d’une étude par des professionnels afin d’identifier les facteurs et les politiques qui amélioreront la perception de ces jeunes vis-à-vis de l’enseignement supérieur. Principales actions : - Identification des facteurs et des interventions transfrontalières développant les ambitions et améliorant les perceptions des jeunes. - Développement de l’employabilité transfrontalière : mises en place de visites d’échange d’étudiants, formations linguistiques, visites d’Universités etc. - Travail en commun entre les jeunes afin de réaliser un pack transfrontalier présentant les spécificités environnementales et patrimoniales de Picardie et du Kent. - Mise en place d’activités et événements d’intégration destinées à augmenter l’engagement des parents dans la progression éducative de leurs enfants. - Mise en place d’un protocole transfrontalier pour développer les ambitions des jeunes dans les régions défavorisées en Angleterre et en France. - Création d’un outil d’évaluation bilingue expliquant comment évaluer le comportement des élèves, développer les ambitions et réaliser des évaluations performantes au sein du système scolaire. - Organisation d’activités communes de développement professionnel pour permettre l’échange de connaissances professionnelles transfrontalières et le transfert de compétences, entre des E31professionnels de Swale et de Picardie, ainsi que des professionnels d’autres régions éligibles des deux côtés de la Manche.

Description (EN):

Main objective : The main aim of this project is to encourage the access to higher education to young people and to develop their social mobility in Kent and Somme areas. CROIS offers to provide undergraduate students from socially disadvantaged backgrounds, and their parents, with activities aimed at improving their perception toward higher education. At the same time, the CROIS project will work on the realization of a professional study to identify the factors and policies that could improve the above-said perception. Main actions : - Identification of the factors and cross-border interventions that will raise the aspirations and improve the perceptions of French and English youth toward higher education. - Development of cross-border employability: student exchanges, language courses, visits to universities etc. - Implementation of a cross border pack by youth, drawing upon environmental and heritage features of Picardy and Kent. - Design of specific cross-border activities and inclusion events aimed at improving parents’ engagement with their children’s educational progress. - Publication of a cross-border protocol to raise youth aspirations in deprived areas in England and France. - Creation of a bilingual assessment tool explaining how to evaluate student behaviour, to raise aspirations, and to conduct efficient assessments within the education system. - Organization of joint professional development activities to encourage cross-border professional knowledge exchange and skills transfer, attended by professionals from Swale and Picardie as well as from other eligible regions on both sides of the channel.
