Objectif général : Le projet HOT POT a pour but de développer des savoirs, compétences et services innovants en Management Santé Restauration des deux côtés de la Manche et créer de nouvelles compétences pour remédier à la situation de la production alimentaire et de la restauration. Le projet se décline en trois axes: -Mise en place de recherches conjointes: développement de technologies nouvelles en santé et restauration pour les personnes défavorisées. - Développement commun de deux Masters en Sciences. - Mises en place d’ateliers et de séminaires professionnels pour les PME du secteur de la restauration de chaque côté de la Manche. Principales réalisations : - Réalisations d’études préliminaires : Une étude sur les régimes et besoins nutritionnels, les ressources, agroalimentaires disponibles et les pratiques de production et distribution des repas. Une étude des meilleures pratiques internationales de préparation de repas. Une étude de besoins universitaires et professionnels en matière de formation en France et en Angleterre. - Mise en place de recherche conjointe afin de créer des techniques innovantes de production de plats bon marché ayant une meilleure valeur nutritionnelle et une durée de vie prolongée. - Développement conjoint de Programmes de Mastère. - Développement de services aux professionnels : programmes de support en technique et management proposés aux PME du secteur de la restauration.

Description (EN):

Main objective : This project aims to develop innovative knowledge, competences and services in Health and Food Service Management across the Channel Region, and to create new skills to address the current situation of modern food production and service activities. The Hot Pot project is based on 3 axes: - Implementation of joint research projects: Novel Health and Food Service Technologies for Disadvantaged - Development of two joint MSc in Health & Food Service Management - Organization of cross-border workshops and professional seminars for SMEs in the Health and Food service sectors Main actions : - Realization of preliminary surveys: 1 on nutritional needs and diets, available raw materials, meal production and distribution practices in the Channel region 1 on international best practices in meal production technologies 1 comprehensive research of curriculum and delivery needs in England and France amongst universities and companies - Implementation of a joint research aiming at providing innovative technical procedures to produce affordable meals with an enhanced nutritional value and an extended life - Joint MSc Curriculum Development - Development of professional services: Business and technology support programs offered to SMEs in the health and food service sectors.

Achievements (FR):

Principales actions / résultats : - Réalisations d’études préliminaires : 1 étude menée sur les régions françaises du programme Interreg et sur le secteur de la restauration collective en France. 1 étude menée sur les régions anglaises du programme Interreg et sur l’ensemble du secteur de la restauration. 1 enquête réalisée auprès des professionnels de la restauration collective française et de leurs fournisseurs. - Développement conjoint de Programmes de Mastère : 1 état des lieux réalisé sur les formations supérieures existantes en Restauration de chaque côté de la Manche. 1 construction du contenu de la formation à l’Université de Brighton et à LaSalle Beauvais.

Main achievements : - Realization of preliminary surveys: 1 survey conducted in the French INTERREG regions and in the French contract catering sector 1 survey conducted in the British INTERREG regions and in the global restaurants sector 1 survey conducted with French officers in contract catering companies and with their suppliers - Joint MSc Curriculum Development: 1 inventory of existing graduate curricula in the restaurants sector on both sides of the Channel Elaboration of the programme content for the Universities of Brighton and LaSalle Beauvais
