Main objective : The aim of this project is to offer a new and attractive way of teaching sciences through the creation of a 3D virtual environment, in which learning scenarios based on modelling and simulation will be integrated. The project combines the complementary competencies of two organizations, CESI’s school of engineering and the School of Creative Technologies in the University of Portsmouth, thus facilitating expertise and innovation exchanges between these schools. Main actions : - Creation of pedagogical scenario and resources in Physics, based on modelling and simulation. - Integration of these resources in a virtual learning environment created on the Wonderland software. - Implementation of student exchanges. - Training of French and English teachers on using the of software. - Comparison of the knowledge acquired during the training on the platform, with traditional training sessions. - Expertise exchanges between teachers of both institutions in these fields: pedagogy, integration of new technologies in training

Objectif général : L'objectif du projet SCIENCE IN WONDERLAND est de proposer une nouvelle approche attractive de l'enseignement des sciences en créant un environnement virtuel 3D auquel seront intégrés des scénarios d'apprentissage basés sur la simulation et la modélisation. Ce projet réunit les compétences complémentaires de 2 institutions, l'école d'ingénieurs du CESI et l'école de technologies créatives de l'Université de Portsmouth, facilitant ainsi les échanges d'expertise et d'innovation entre ces établissements. Principales actions : - Création d’un scénario et de ressources pédagogiques en Physique, basés sur la modélisation et la simulation. - Intégration des ressources à un environnement d’apprentissage virtuel créé sur le logiciel Wonderland. - Mise en place d’échanges d’étudiants. - Organisation de formations de professeurs anglais et français à l’utilisation de la plateforme. - Comparaison des connaissances acquises entre la formation sur la plateforme et la formation traditionnelle. - Mises en place d’échanges d’expertise entre les enseignants des deux institutions sur l’ingénierie pédagogique et l’intégration de nouvelles technologies dans l’apprentissage.
