On the path of the water: from the Maira Mera' is a project located in cross-border connecting the two towns of Villa Chiavenna, in the district of Valchiavenna mountain community in the province of Sondrio, and municipalities in the Bregaglia Canton of Grisons. Elements around which was built the project are as follows: - The river Mera, who leads the Swiss side in the name of Maira, who has represented and continues to be a key resource for hydropower plants present; - The old bridge over the river Lovero that was the pass between Italy and Switzerland, and customs that connects the towns of Villa Chiavenna Castasegna. Based on these two elements it was decided to build a cooperation project recoveries that border on the one hand the old border crossing and other represents an opportunity for dissemination of knowledge of water resources and its use as a source of renewable energy.

'Sulla via dell'acqua: dalla Maira alla Mera' e un progetto localizzato nell'area trasfrontaliera che collega i due Comuni di Villa di Chiavenna, nel comprensorio della Comunita montana Valchiavenna in Provincia di Sondrio, e i Comuni della Bregaglia nel Cantone dei Grigioni. Gli elementi attorno ai quali e stato costruito il progetto sono i seguenti: - il fiume Mera, che nel versante svizzero porta il nome di Maira, che ha rappresentato e continua ad essere una risorsa fondamentale per le centrali idroelettriche presenti; - l'antico ponte sul torrente Lovero che e stato il valico doganale tra italia e Svizzera e che collega i Comuni di Villa di Chiavenna e Castasegna. Partendo da questi due elementi si e pensato di costruire un progetto di cooperazione transfrontaliera che da un lato recuperi l'antico passaggio di confine e dall'altro rappresenti una occasione di diffusione delle conoscenza della risorsa acqua e del suo utilizzo come fonte di energia rinnovabile.
