Description (HU):

A pályázat célja egy turisztikai desztináció kialakítása a határ mindkét oldalán a Geopark Novohrad-Nógrád által. A telejs pályázat összhangban van a program stratégiai céljaival - ? Gazdasági és szociális fellendülés elősegítése a határmenti területeken? és az 1es sz. gazdasági és társadalmi Prioritási tengellyel - Megerősödött gazdasági versenyképesség a határ menti térségben, mivel a tájegység kialakításával több hazai és külföldi turista látogatása várható, amivel a régió gazdasága javulhat. Specifikus célok: - partnerségi kapcsolatok fejlesztése a magyarországi és szlovákiai falvak és idegenforgalmi vállalatok között. - látogatók ide vonzása, amely új munkalehetőségeket és jobb gazdasági helyzetet hoz magával. - a térség közös terjesztése a köztudatban . - információs rendszer és kisebb infrastruktúra kiépítése, amellyel gyorsabban a köztudatba kerülnek a térésg látványosságai.

Description (SK):

Hlavným cieľom projektu je spoločná podpora budovania turisticky atraktívnej destinácie na obidvoch stranách hraníc na území Geoparku Novohrad-Nógrád prostredníctvom vybudovania turistickej magistrály po veľmi hodnotnom území. Celkový cieľ projektu je v súlade so strategickým cieľom programu Zvýšiť úroveň hospodárskej a sociálnej integrácie v cezhraničnej oblasti a prioritnou osou 1 Hospodárstvo a spoločnosť - Posilnená hospodárska konkurencieschopnosť v prihraničnej oblasti, pretože vybudovaním tejto magistrály sa očakáva prílev domácich a zahraničných turistov a zlepšenie celkovej ekonomiky územia. Špecifické ciele: - rozvoj partnerských vzťahov medzi slovenskými a maďarskými obcami a podnikateľmi v cestovnom ruchu - pritiahnutie návštevníkov, čo v konečnom dôsledku umožní tvorbu nových pracovných príležitostí a ekonomický rast - zlepšenie spoločnej propagácie územia - vybudovanie drobnej infraštruktúry a informačno-orientačného systému v území, čím sa zlepší dostupnosť a informovanosť o jednotlivých atraktivitách v území.

Achievements (EN):

The Novohrad-Nógrád Geopark includes 28 villages in Slovakia and 46 in Hungary. Both territories became protected in 1990 to preserve the volcanic landscape for scientific and educational purposes. In 2010, the Geopark Nógrád - Novohrad became a member of the European network of geoparks. The Hungarian side is under UNESCO protection with more than 150,000 visitors per year. The Slovak side between Mučín and Šiatorská Bukovinka is loosely populated, well maintained and has unique geological, paleontological and natural values, however it is not developed enough for tourists. The aim of the project was to improve the services of the geoparks in order to fulfil the increased requirement of the tourism and to offer tourist attractions for more than one day. The project partners restored tourist pathways running on the border zone of Hungary and Slovakia with a length of 24.5 km from Kalonda through the Mučínska cave Natural Monument turning to the Lipovianske sandstones Natural Monument, to Čakanovský to Šiatorská Bukovinka. The construction of a belvedere, a wooden bridge for pedestrians, the installation of information boards, information signs, staging points and feeders for birds were also parts of the project.
