Ce projet vise à prendre en compte les désavantages économiques des régions périphériques de l’Espace Atlantique et à étudier comment un système de promotion intégré peut aider ces régions et vaincre les déséquilibres régionaux. Le projet se propose de renforcer et promouvoir l’identité de l’Espace Atlantique à travers l’analyse systématique d’un rapprochement des régions grâce à une stratégie de promotion. Leur action se concentrera sur quatre points principaux : - Partenariat Atlantique de Marketing, afin de développer un outil de communication basé sur Internet pour créer un dialogue interne de l’Espace Atlantique. Egalement, il vise à développer des partenariats locaux de marketing pour promouvoir un développement durable des centres sub-régionaux. - Développement d’une stratégie de marketing, dans le but de produire des programmes locaux de promotion. Ceux-ci seront mis en commun avec les stratégies des autres partenaires transnationaux. - Attirer des visiteurs, les populations locales et les communautés à travers le développement et l’implantation de nouveaux services et initiatives : création de routes thématiques, d’une nouvelle image/label touristique commun, de « Visitor Cards », promotion des marchés artisanaux du centre-ville. - Promotion durable des zones sub-régionales : développement des relations publiques et de promotion de l’image des villes. Impact économique du marketing local : implémentation des stratégies de promotion, afin de saisir l’impact du projet. Les objectifs principaux de ce projet sont les suivants : - Explorer au niveau transnational et interrégional la meilleure manière de créer des associations de promotion de plusieurs secteurs. - Utiliser les qualités distinctives d’un lieu comme outil de marketing. - Examiner l’impact de la promotion des centres sous-régionaux sur les régions et sa contribution au développement économique polycentrique de l’Espace Atlantique. - Utiliser les connaissances interrégionales pour développer une méthodologie promotionnelle. Mettre en place un instrument de communication conjointe pour la promotion et le marketing dans l’Espace Atlantique. Diffuser largement les résultats et l’information dans l’Espace Atlantique.

Achievements (EN):

- Production of a practical marketing method for the Atlantic Area: The partners in the project took part in 6 working groups where a methodology for promoting several sectors was developed through the exchange of experience in the development of tourism, - Critical analysis of the dynamics between the local differences and the perception of the market, - Market study of the partner regions to measure the economic impact of the project. Best knowledge of the market in the Atlantic regions, - Local differences were taken into account in constructing the common marketing strategy. Using the difference as a communication tool, - The marketing strategy has highlighted individual good practices of the partners and encouraged the development of innovative pilot projects that can be transferred to the other regions in the Atlantic Area, - Development of a website: www.spaa-atlantic.org and dissemination of information about the project on the partners' websites, - Development of joint communication tools to promote and market the Atlantic Area, - Organisation of demonstrations of the 12 pilot projects, - Dissemination of 250 brochures and 500 prospectuses. - Organisation of 2 conferences (110-120 participants) and participation in "European Open days" and other regional conferences.
