Description (EN):

The project aims to improve capacities and competitiveness of SMEs staff for introduction of non-technological innovations and to establish CB network for exchange of experiences, ideas and success stories on innovations between the stakeholders. Project facilitates access to new and innovative practices and processes for enhancing potential for business growth. Allow development of tools/products for promotion of innovations (Virtual Learning Academy tailored to specific needs of SMEs; on-line solution e-FAIR) which improve capacities of SMEs staff for introduction of non-technological innovations. Discussion Forum on innovation, International conference and establishing of CB network facilitate the exchange of experiences, ideas and success innovations stories. The project addresses to enhancing capacity of SMEs for introduction of non-technological innovations in the target CB area.

Проектот има за цел подобрување на капацитетите и конкурентноста на персоналот на малите и средни претпријатија за воведување на нетехнолошки иновации и воспоставување на прекугранична мрежа за размена на искуства, идеи и успешни приказни на иновации помеѓу засегнатите страни. Проектот ке го олесни пристапот до нови и иновативни практики и процеси за подобрување на потенцијалот за раст на бизнисот. Ке овозможи развој на алатки / производи за промовирање на иновации (виртуелна академија за учење прилагодена на специфичните потреби на малите и средни претпријатија, on-line решение на е-Саем) со што ке се подобрат капацитетите на вработените во малите и средни претпријатија за воведување на не-технолошки иновации. Форум за иновации, Меѓународна конференција и градење на прекугранична мрежа со која ке се олесни размената на искуства, идеи и успешни иновативни приказни. Проектот е наменет за подобрување на капацитетите на малите и средни претпријатија за воведување на нетехнолошки иновации во прекуграничната област.

Проектът цели да подобри капацитета и конкурентоспособността на персонала на МСП чрез въвеждане на не-технологични иновации и да установи трансгранична мрежа за обмен на опит, идеи и успешни нововъведения между заинтересованите участници. Проектът улеснява достъпа до нови и иновационни практики и засилване потенциала за бизнес растеж. Проектът позволява разработването на инструменти/продукти за насърчаване на иновации (Виртуална Обучителна Академия, пригодена към специфичните нужди на малките и средни предприятия; онлайн e-FAIR), които подобряват възможностите на персонала на МСП с оглед въвеждане на не-технологични иновации. Цел на проекта е и провеждане на Дискусионен форум за иновации, Международна конференция за създаване на транс-гранична мрежа, улесняваща обмена на опит, идеи и успешни нововъведения. Проектът е насочен към засилване капацитета на МСП за въвеждането на не-технологични иновации в целевата трансгранична зона.

Achievements (EN):

As a result of the project, what kind of effects can be experienced and quantified? Please detail the further expected impacts and compare to the ones described in your application. The project implementation succeeded in achieving the following positive effects on the overall development of the target groups and the CB region as a whole: - Achieved a better understanding of the regional innovation environment and the specific needs of SMEs regarding developing and introducing innovations. - Improved innovation potential and capacity of local businesses to address the challenges arising from the limited opportunities financial, human and management resources, as well as the low innovation potential of existing enterprises for implementing new technologies. - Improved awareness of SMEs on the true meaning of innovation, especially of non-technological innovation, as more accessible and understandable for business owners and management staff of enterprises. - Established structures for providing modern services to support small and medium-sized enterprises and their associations and clusters (including management, marketing and other specialised non-technological innovation services). - Fostered and implemented exchanges of experience, ideas and good practices for implementing and developing innovation between stakeholders (SMEs, business support organisations, research centres, universities, etc.). The following quantitative results were achieved as a result of the project’s implementation: - Organized ten events to build capacity, skills, develop contacts and provide basis for the exchange of experience between companies and organisations in Bulgaria and Macedonia; - Generated over 560 pages of original content on non-technological innovations for small and medium enterprises; - Some 376 participants attended different project events aimed at improving the knowledge and capacities of SMEs of the District of Blagoevgrad in Bulgaria and the South-east planning region in Macedonia to develop and adopt non-technological innovations; - Over 35,000 people of the cross-border region of Bulgaria and Macedonia were informed on the activities and results of the project through an extensive promotional campaign in all media channels. - Some 30 companies from Macedonia were informed and consulted on various topics related to their organisational development, funding and innovation related issues. - Developed 2 (two) original and innovative tools and training resources to support the achievement of project objectives. - Engaged 67 representatives of small and medium enterprises in e-learning activities through the Virtual Learning Academy for Non-Technological Innovations; - Organized the first pilot Virtual Fair of companies of the District of Blagoevgrad in Bulgaria and the South-east planning region in Macedonia; - Established a Partnership Network for Promoting the Implementation and Development of Non-Technological Innovations in SMEs in the Cross-border Region of Bulgaria and Macedonia with members – organisations and stakeholders of the Blagoevgrad region in Bulgaria and the Southeast Planning region in Macedonia to ensure the sustainability and possible multiplication of project results.
