The following activities will be implemented as part of the diverse work program of the project: 1. Project management and coordination - to ensure the timely and effective implementation of the project activities and the achievement of the ambitious goals, set by the project. 2. Information and publicity campaign - to promote the project, the activities, events and the European funding source among the main target groups of the projects, stakeholders and the population of the target cross-border region in Bulgaria and Macedonia. 3. Cross-border competition Sh@re the Cultural Heritage of Your Region. 4. Youth Cultural Promoters Camps (Level 1) in Macedonia and Bulgaria. 5. Joint cultural calendar of the cultural events in the cross-border region of Bulgaria and Macedonia. 6. Development of innovative online software for organization and promotion of cultural events. 7. Design, development, technical maintenance and update of a web-portal and social media of the project. 8. Production and promotion of short video clips of cultural / youth organizations of the CB region. 9. Youth Cultural Promoters Camp (Level 2) in Macedonia. 10. Discussion Forum in Strumitsa. 11. Final Conference in Bulgaria. 12. Establishment of YouthCulturalPromoters Network Bulgaria – Macedonia.

В рамките на работна програма на проекта ще бъдат изпълнени следните дейности: 1. Управление и координация на проекта - осигуряване на навременно и ефективно изпълнение на дейностите по проекта с цел постигане на поставените цели . 2. Информационна кампания - целта на кампанията е да популяризира проекта, дейностите, събитията и източника на финансиране сред основните целеви групи, заинтересованите страни и населението на целевия трансграничен регион в България и Македония. 3. Трансграничен конкурс на тема „Сподели културното наследство на твоя регион“. 4. Младежки лагери за културни промоутъри (Първо ниво) в Македония и България. 5. Съвместен календар на културните прояви и събития в трансграничния регион на България и Македония. 6. Разработване на иновативен онлайн софтуер за организиране и популяризиране на културни прояви и събития. 7. Разработване, поддръжка и регулярна актуализация на уеб портал и социални медии на проекта. 8. Създаване и популяризиране на кратки видео представяния на културни и младежки организации от целевия трансграничен регион. 9. Младежки лагер за културни промоутъри (Второ ниво) в Македония. 10. Дискусионен форум в Македония. 11. Заключителна конференция в България. 12. Създаване на Мрежа на млади културни промоутъри от трансграничния регион на България и Македония.

Следниве активности ќе бидат спроведени како дел од разновидната работна програма на проектот: 1. Управување и координација со проектот - да се обезбеди навремено и ефективно спроведување на проектните активности и постигнување на амбициозните цели, поставени од страна на проектот. 2. Кампања за информирање на јавноста и публицитет - да се промовира проектот, активностите, настаните и европскиот извор на финансирање меѓу главните целни групи на проектот, засегнатите страни и населението на целниот прекуграничен регион во Бугарија и Македонија. 3. Прекуграничен натпревар - Споделете го културното наследство на вашиот регион. 4. Младински културни кампови за промотори (Ниво 1) во Македонија и Бугарија. 5. Заеднички културен календар на културните настани во прекуграничниот регион на Бугарија и Македонија. 6. Изработка на иновативен онлајн софтвер за организација и промоција на културни настани. 7. Дизајн, изработка, техничко одржување и ажурирање на веб-портал и социјални медиуми на проектот. 8. Производство и промоција на кратки видео спотови на културни / младински организации од прекуграничниот регион. 9. Младински културен камп за промотори (Ниво 2) во Македонија. 10. Форум за дискусија во Струмица. 11. Завршна конференција во Бугарија. 12. Воспоставување на мрежа на младински културни промотори од Бугарија и Македонија.

Achievements (EN):

The current project responded to the identified needs of the INTERREG IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Program 2014-2020 to "further promote the region's cultural and historical heritage". It contributed to solving some of the significant cross-border issues identified by the Program, such as "the negative climate change, more particular the global warming trends present a major challenge to the region's winter tourism". Further, the project aided in the more efficient valorisation of the cultural and historical heritage and the cultural events to promote tourism in the region. This action supported the development of various tourism forms and contributed to the sustainable and balanced tourism development in the cross-border area. Implementing a joint approach to the implementation of the project activities, the inclusion of a wide range of target groups relevant to cultural heritage and cultural life have strengthened partnerships between stakeholders in the CB region and their efforts to promote the common cultural heritage. The established partnership network and the common use of the tools created by the project (i.e. innovative online software (A6), short video presentations of cultural operators (A8), interactive (online) and printed version of a joint cultural calendar (A5)) and the strong web and social media presence of the project, enhanced and will further enhance the capacity of cultural organisations and operators. Those tools and products assisted and enhanced the direct advertising of the rich cultural and historical heritage and cultural activities of the cross-border region. The interactive online-based cultural calendar of the CB region is widely accessible through the project's web portal and social media, allowing visitors of the region to access the diversity of cultural events in both countries easily. This provoked the participation of new potential participants from the cross-border region in cultural events and provided time for the participants to prepare. It informed the guests of the region and those outside of the region about the type of event and the time of the event. The widespread inclusion of young people and youth organisations from the cultural sphere in the project's activities has deepened and will further provoke their interest in culture. The youth contest provoked an innovative and unusual approach to the presentation and advertising of cultural heritage. Working with youths in the framework of the Youth Cultural Camps in Macedonia and Bulgaria generated new ideas and projects for the innovative and non-standard promotion of the common cultural heritage of the region. The participants in the Camps became true Youth Cultural Promoters of the common heritage of the cross-border region of both countries.

Indicator; Reached value; Comment Number of cross-border networks established or strengthened in the field of sustainable tourism;1.00;In order to ensure the sustainability of project results and provide ideas and tools for their multiplication and additional support, a YouthCulturalPromoters Network Bulgaria - Macedonia was officially established by both project partners. The network was formalised through the signature of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the project partners and various organisations and stakeholders of the CB region. One of the key objectives of the network is and will be to seek funding and additional support for innovative projects for the promotion of the unique cultural heritage of the common cross-border region. In addition to the MoU, PP2 has developed a Sustainability and Exploitation Plan roadmap for achieving sustainability of project results. Both project partners will sustain the network and ensure its existence after completion of the project by keeping the information and communication flow alive following the end of the project. The indicator is achieved through activity 4,9,10,11 and 12. Number of cultural events held for promoting the region's cultural identity;1.00;In the period between 30.10.2020 - 31.10.2020, the Final Project Conference in Bulgaria (A11) was organized and held. The Final project conference represented a large promotional event with participants of both countries (i.e. 25 from BG and 15 from MK) with the balanced participation of men and women. During the event, the finalists of the YCP Camps of Bulgaria and Macedonia presented their innovative and non-standard ideas for promotion of the unique cultural heritage and identity of the common cross-border region of both countries. Initially, the event envisaged the participation of 15 guest participants of North Macedonia. However, given the situation at the time, resulting from the escalating epidemic outbreak of COVID-19, and the existing travel limitations between the two countries, the physical participation of Macedonian participants at the event was considered as an unnecessary risk from a health and safety perspective. Therefore, both partners have agreed to organise the event with face-to-face participation of only Bulgarian participants. The LP ensured the online participation in the event of 15 participants of the target groups, project beneficiaries and stakeholders. For that purpose, LP and PP2 organised and ensured the complete online broadcast of the event and allowed for Macedonian participants in the Conference to present their videos and projects for promoting the cultural heritage of the CB region, as it has been planned initially. The follow-up discussion was carried out in an online setting. The entire event was recorded and uploaded on the web portal of the project. Additionally, a live broadcast was provided for all interested stakeholders and representatives of the target groups of both countries. The indicator is achieved through activity 11. Number of participants in youth initiatives;40.00;Within the implementation of Activity 4, the target value of 40 participants in youth initiatives was reached as planned, with the organization of the Youth Cultural Promoters Camps (Level 1) in Macedonia and Bulgaria. The participants (40) were young people aged up to 29 years (20 of Bulgaria and 20 of Macedonia), with the balanced participation of men and women. LP: In the period between 19th to 22th of August 2020, at the hotel “Vila Park” in Strumica, the four-day training and youth camp “Academy for young cultural promoters” was organized and held. The event was attended by 20 participants from MK (selected under A3), 2 members of the project team and 3 external lecturers/mentors. The agenda of the four-day training and youth camp “Academy for young cultural promoters” featured outdoor activities, social media marketing focus groups, innovative photography, multimedia and shooting technologies, etc. The event was organised by taking into account all relevant requirements and preventive measures, in accordance to the regulations of the health authorities in North Macedonia, related to the COVID - 19 pandemic. The overall goal of the Academy was to increase and improve the skills and knowledge of young people in the field of digital marketing, innovative online and multimedia technologies and social media, as well as to get acquainted with the process of recording and production of individual VLOG videos. During the event, the participants had the opportunity to network, exchange experience, cooperate and receive training of experts in the field of marketing, innovative online and multimedia technologies, social media, etc. The participants were grouped in teams on their projects and ideas for the innovative and non-standard promotion of the cultural heritage of the CB region. Certificates were given to all the participants. The best 10 participants were chosen and will proceed to Level 2 of the YCP Camp (A9). LP hired 3 external lecturers/mentors to develop and deliver content. Logistic support provided: Rent of hall; Multimedia and sound equipment; Coffee-breaks; Catering offerings; Accommodation and transport services; the participants were provided with a set of promotional materials: folders, pens, notebooks, paper sheets, etc; consumables: flipchart sheets, color sheets, roll playing games consumables, nature activities, etc. A roll-up banner for the event was designed and printed. Invitation, agenda, MoM, photos, list of participants for the event were prepared. The event was promoted in the project Facebook page, web sites, publishing internet ads, radio ads, press releases, etc. PP2: The YCP Camp Level 1 event was carried out in the period 20-23.07.2020 in the holiday resort “Bozheime”, located in the village of Baldevo, Bulgaria. The training was implemented in compliance with all preventive measures, following the recommendations of the authorised health authorities. In this connection, personal precautions (masks and/or face shields), disinfectants, disposable gloves, etc. will be provided to all participants. Representatives of the organizers monitored for keeping of the necessary distance, the regular disinfection, etc. The mentors of the Academy included: Mr Alexander Iliev, Mr Stoyan Marinov, Ms Rositsa Dzhambazova, Ms Marian Kanev. Mr Plamen Todorov and Mr Zhivko Ivanov took over the organisation of the event and provided the necessary assistance to participants. Mr Todorov was in charge of supervising the observance of all health-related measures. The event was attended by a total of 29 participants. The indicator is achieved with the implementation of the activity No.4 “Youth Cultural Promoters Camps (Level 1) in Macedonia and Bulgaria”.
