Skogs- och fjälltrakterna mellan Sverige och Norge har historiskt sett varit helt beroende av husdjursskötsel och foderproduktion. Ett sedvanebruk som givit upphov till särskilda natur- och kultur-värden och även format landskapet på ett särskilt sätt. Bruket är marginaliserat och anses oekonomiskt. Men kan man skapa bättre ekonomi för brukarna genom att tydligare marknadsföra produkter utifrån de värden som utgör biprodukter av betesbruket?

Description (EN):

The forest and mountain regions between Sweden and Norway have historically been completely dependent on animal husbandry and feed production. A customary practice that has given rise to specific natural and cultural values and also shaped the landscape in a particular way. The practice is marginalised and is considered uneconomic. But is it possible to create a better economy for users by clearly marketing products based on the values that constitute by-products of grazing?

Achievements (SV):

Et forventet resultat av prosjektet var att: ”projektet ska bidra till att skapa ett mervärde för brukarna och också bättre lönsamhet för produktionen samtidigt som de hävdgynnade natur- och kulturvärdena bevaras och utvecklas”. Under workshopene i prosjektet har brukerne presentert sine egne forretningskonsepter- og ideer, og fått mulighet til å diskutere disse med andre brukere (som har vært på andre stadier i prosessen) og fått innspill fra fagmiljøene og innovasjonsaktøren Proneo, samt av Paulina Rytkönen som har en mångårig erfarenhet av affärsutvecklingsstöd och kunskapsöverföring till småföretag på landsbygden. Ved å fokusere på helheten i kulturlandskapet (koblingen mellom natur- og kultur) og sette fokus på sammenhengen mellom biologiske ressurser, tradisjonskunnskap, smak og produktkvalitet fikk brukerne i prosjektet et verktøy for å ta sin virksomhet et steg videre for å kunne tilby ”mat med merverdi”. Videre fikk brukerne økt sin kompetanse om riktig prissetting og målrettet markedsføring av sine produkter, noe som forhåpentligvis gjør dem tryggere og mer målbevisste med tanke på den fremtidige lønnsomheten til bedriften. Selv om vi ikke kunne måle et slikt utbytte i løpet av prosjektperioden, forventer vi at konseptet med å anvende natur- og kulturarv mer direkte knyttet opp mot lokal matproduksjon og tilbydelse av tjenester nå er enklere å angripe. Brukare som har deltagit i projektet har återkopplat att projektet har bidragit till att utveckla deras företag. Vi fick i projektet möjlighet att samarbeta med ett annat interregprojekt som arbetade med affärsutvecklingsstöd riktat till småföretag i Stockholms, Ålands och Åbolands skärgårdar. De erfarenheter som gjordes i affärsutvecklingsarbetet med utmarksbrukarna kunde jämföras och utökas. Detta ledde till framtagning av en affärsutvecklingsmanual för fäbodbrukare och mathantverkarna. Erfarenheterna och exemplen i manualen är allmängiltiga och kombination med gängse kunskap om affärsutveckling bidrar manualen till utvecklingen av en mycket större grupp utmarksbrukare och landsbygdsföretagare. Manualen har uppmärksammats både i Norge, i Sverige och på Åland. ”Affärsutvecklingsmanual för fäbodbrukare och mathantverkare”, kan lastes ned fra internett https://www.slu.se/globalassets/ew/org/centrb/cbm/dokument/publikationer-cbm/cbmskriftserie/foretagsmanual-191107.pdf). Manualen er utarbeidet på en slik måte at den egner seg for lokale studieringer og grupper, og konseptet kan dermed leve videre og utvikles nå etter at prosjektet er avsluttet. Vi har också ansökt om ytterligare anslag för att arbeta vidare med användningen av manualen men har ännu inte varit lyckosamma. I manualen går det også fram ”hvilke verdier knyttet til naturressursene og den biologiske kulturarven som skal løftes frem i markedsføringen av et utvalg produkter”, slik det er formulert i ett av de andre delmålene til prosjektet. I Norge har dessuten Norges Bygdekvinnelag skrevet en større reportasje der prosjektet og bøkene omtales. Dette har gitt prosjektresultatene et enda større nedslagsfelt.

Achievements (EN):

The result of the prose was to: “the project will contribute to creating added value for users and also improving the profitability of production while preserving and developing the traditional natural and cultural values”. During the workshop in the prosjekt, the millerne presentert sine egne forretningskonsepter- og ideas, og got innspill fra fagmiljøene og innovasjonsaktøren Proneo, and from Paulina Rytkönen, who has a long experience of business development support and knowledge transfer to small businesses in rural areas. The focus on the whole of the cultural landscape (koblingen mellom natur- og culture) og set the focus on the Sammenhengen mellom biological resources, tradijonskunnskap, taste og product quality fikk millerne in the prosjekt et verktøy to take its crochetness and rose wide for å kunne tilby “food with merverdi”. Videre fikk millerne økt her Kompetanse on real pricesetting og the paintwork markedsføring of its products, noe that forhåpentligvis gives them safe og more goal-provided considering the early summerness to the achievement. In the project we had the opportunity to collaborate with another interreg project that worked with business development support for small businesses in the archipelagos of Stockholm, Åland and Turku. The experience gained in the business development work with the outland farmers could be compared and expanded. This led to the development of a business development manual for farmers and food craftsmen. The experience and examples in the manual are universal and combined with common knowledge of business development contributes to the development of a much larger group of landowners and rural entrepreneurs. The manual is deprivation of a like that it is possible for local studyers and groups to reach the conclusion of the proceedings. We have also applied for additional appropriations to continue working on the use of the manual but have not yet been successful. In the manual, the “Verdier knyttet till naturressursene og the biological cultural heritage that is to be found in the markedsføringen of a selected product”, resembles it in one of the other milestones of the prosjekt. In Norway, Norway’s Bygdekvinnelag has written a større reportasje der prosjektet og bøkene omtales. It has given the prosjektresulten et only større impact error.
