Das Projekt verfolgt das Ziel, die Ausbildung im Bereich der geometrischen Produktspezifikation und –verifikation zu verbessern, um den steigenden Anforderungen gerecht zu werden und die internationale Wettbewerbsfähigkeit von Industriebtrieben aus der Bodenseeregion zu erhöhen. Die Bodenseeregion mit ihren vielen innovativen Unternehmen muss sich dem weltweiten Wettbewerb stellen – auch um die besten Köpfe. Der rasche Wandel erfordert eine hohe Anpassungsfähigkeit mit entsprechendem Bedarf an lebenslangem Lernen. Seamless Learning setzt an fragmentierten Lernerfahrungen an: In der Schule Erlerntes wird im Studium nicht mehr genutzt; in der Praxis Relevantes kann nicht aus dem Studium oder der Weiterbildung eingebracht werden. Ziel von Seamless Learning ist es, Brüche zu überwinden – zwischen einzelnen Bildungsstufen, zwischen Schul- und Berufswelt oder vom Analogen ins Digitale. Zudem werden neue Technologien eingesetzt. Das Projekt widmet sich der verbesserten Ausbildung im Bereich der geometrischen Produktspezifikation und –verifikation. Industriebetriebe im Bodenseeraum sind global stark vernetzt mit Partnerunternehmen. Deshalb sehen sie sich bei der Spezifikation und Verifikation von Bauteilen zunehmend mit internationalen Normen und Richtlinien konfrontiert – eine Herausforderung für Betriebe und Bildungsanbieter. Bestehende Grundsätze, Vorgehensweisen und Interpretationen für die Konstruktion, Fertigung und Messtechnik von Bauteilen sind teils überholt – die Ausbildung hat Defizite. Wie kann modernes, motivierendes lebenslanges Lernen für «geometrische Produktspezifikation und -verifikation» ermöglicht werden – von der Berufslehre über die Hochschulen bis zur Weiterbildung der Mitarbeitenden? Das Projekt erstellt dafür ein Ausbildungskonzept: ein Mix aus konventionellen Lernmethoden, selbstgesteuerten «On-Demand-Lernformen» und Wissenserarbeitung in der Praxis. Das Konzept nutzt zudem neue Technologien wie beispielsweise eine Online-Lernplattform für den Wissenserwerb über mobile Endgeräte wie Smartphones oder Tablets. Ziel ist es, Fachkräfte im Bodenseeraum zu stärken und schlussendlich die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit der ansässigen Industrie gegenüber anderen Regionen zu erhöhen.

The project pursues the objective of improving training in the field of geometric product specification and verification, in order to meet growing requirements and increase the international competitiveness of industrial companies in the Lake Constance region. The Lake Constance region, with its many innovative companies has to face worldwide competition – and the best minds too. The fast pace of change requires a high level of adaptability, with the corresponding requirement for lifelong learning. Seamless learning starts with fragmented learning experiences: What is learned in school is not used in later studying; studies or further training do not provide the elements relevant to practice. The aim of seamless learning is to overcome fractures – between individual learning stages, between the school and occupational areas, and from analogue to digital. New technologies are also deployed. The project is dedicated to improved training in the field of geometric product specification and verification. Industrial companies in the Lake Constance area are strongly networked with partner companies globally. Therefore, they find themselves increasingly faced with international standards and guidelines in the specification and verification of components – a challenge for companies and education providers. Existing principles, approaches and interpretations for the construction, production and measuring technology for components are sometimes overtaken – there are deficits in the training. How can modern, motivated lifelong learning be enabled for “geometric product specification and verification” – from occupational teaching to universities and the further training of employees? The project creates a training concept for this: a mix of conventional learning methods, self-directed “on-demand forms of learning” and developing knowledge in practice. The concept also uses new technologies such as an online learning platform for acquiring knowledge via mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets. The objective is to strengthen the workforce in the Lake Constance area and ultimately increase the competitiveness of the industry established there compared to other regions.

Achievements (DE):

In diesem Projekt wird eine moderne und motivierende Aus- und Weiterbildungsplattform geschaffen, die ein lebenslanges Lernen auf dem Gebiet der Geometrischen Produkt Spezifikation und Verifikation ermöglicht. Das umfassende Konzept spricht Lernende über die gesamte Berufslaufbahn in der ganzen Prozesskette des Produktlebenszyklus an. Stets aktueller Lerninhalt wird anhand einer Geschichte in kleinen Einheiten individuell dem Lernenden in unterschiedlichen Settings vermittelt, wobei auch ein Abrufen des Lerninhaltes über eine Suchfunktion eingebunden wird. In der ersten Phase des Projektes wurden die Anforderungen an das zu entwickelnde System definiert. Ein wichtiger Punkt dabei war, dass die Industriepartner stark involviert wurden. Als zentrale Nutzergruppe konnten sie in verschiedenen Settings wesentliche Inputs geben. Die Anforderungen der Industriepartner wurde zusammen mit denen des NTB zu einem Gesamtbild vereint und in einem Konzept „Landkarte WIGEPS“ festgehalten. Dieses Konzept diente im weiteren Verlauf des Projektes als Grundlage für alle Tätigkeiten. So wurde das didaktische Konzept auf Basis dieser «Landkarte WIGEPS» und unter Einbezug von Erfahrung, Literatur und Messe- sowie Kongressbesuchen entwickelt. Durch diese breit gefächerten Informationen konnte ein modernes didaktisches Konzept, welches eine sehr breite Nutzergruppe anspricht, entwickelt werden. Brüche im Lernen werden damit überwunden und ein lebenslanges Lernen ermöglicht. Mit der Durchführung eines Prototypenkurses, bei welchem ein Teilgebiet des Inhaltes umgesetzt wurde, konnten einige wesentliche Punkte des didaktischen Konzeptes umgesetzt werden. Teilnehmende aus dem Studium und der Industrie gaben ein wertvolles Feedback, welches in die Weiterentwicklung des Produktes einfliessen wird. An mehreren Strategieworkshops wurde das Produkt weiter verfeinert und eine Vision respektive eine Strategie erarbeitet, wie mit dem grossen Projekt nach der Finanzierung durch Interreg weiterverfahren wird. Allen Projektpartnern ist das Potential dieses Produktes bewusst und für alle steht ausser Frage, dass dieses Produkt weiterentwickelt und dann umgesetzt wird. Dazu wurde eine Geschäftsidee entwickelt, welche einerseits als Diskussionsgrundlage zur strategischen Positionierung des Projektes bei den Projektpartnern dient. Anderseits legt diese Geschäftsidee die Basis für einen Businessplant, welcher anschliessend entstehen wird. Über die gesamte Projektlaufzeit wurde das Einzelprojekt durch das Basisprojekt und deren Prozess begleitet. Diese Hilfe konnte in mehreren Phasen im Projekt genutzt werden.

This project creates a modern and motivating education and training platform that enables lifelong learning in the field of geometric product specification and verification. The comprehensive concept addresses learners throughout the entire process chain of the product life cycle. Always up-to-date learning content is conveyed individually to the learner in different settings based on a story in small units, whereby a retrieval of the learning content is also integrated via a search function. In the first phase of the project, the requirements for the system to be developed were defined. An important point was that the industrial partners were heavily involved. As a central user group, they were able to provide essential inputs in different settings. The requirements of the industrial partners were combined together with those of the NTB to form an overall picture and recorded in a concept “Landmap WIGEPS”. This concept served as the basis for all activities in the further course of the project. Thus, the didactic concept was developed on the basis of this “Landmap WIGEPS” and incorporating experience, literature and trade fair and congress visits. Thanks to this wide range of information, a modern didactic concept that appeals to a very broad user group could be developed. This overcomes breaks in learning and enables lifelong learning. With the implementation of a prototype course, in which a sub-area of the content was implemented, some essential points of the didactic concept could be implemented. Participants from the studies and industry gave valuable feedback, which will feed into the further development of the product. At several strategy workshops, the product was further refined and a vision or strategy was developed as to how the large project will proceed after funding by Interreg. All project partners are aware of the potential of this product and for everyone, there is no question that this product will be further developed and then implemented. For this purpose, a business idea was developed, which serves on the one hand as a basis for discussion for the strategic positioning of the project with the project partners. On the other hand, this business idea lays the foundation for a business plan, which will then be created. Over the entire project period, the individual project was accompanied by the basic project and its process. This assistance could be used in several phases of the project.

Expected Results (DE):

Das Lernkonzept wird ausbildungsstufenübergreifend (Lernende, Studierende, Berufsleute) erstellt. Dadurch entstehen keine Brüche zwischen unterschiedlichen Ausbildungsabschnitten. Weiter wird das Lernkonzept abteilungsübergreifend (Konstruktion, Fertigung und Messtechnik) zur Anwendung kommen. Dies schafft eine nähere Zusammenarbeit der Bereiche und ermöglicht so, Themen schon frühzeitig anzugehen. Durch die motivierende, effektive und vielseitige Lernmethode wird ein vertieftes Auseinandersetzen mit der Thematik angestrebt.
