Objectif général : Le projet SEACS a pour but de promouvoir, à travers l'espace Manche, le développement de l'efficacité énergétique et des énergies renouvelables de manière intégrée, pour réduire les émissions de carbone, créer des opportunités économiques et une meilleure cohésion sociale. Le projet vise ainsi à construire un réseau transmanche d’ambassadeurs Climat/Energie et à développer en commun des outils et méthodes adaptés au contexte local, afin que les communautés deviennent les forces motrices pour un changement dans la consommation d’énergie. SEACS propose également de réaliser des projets locaux d'efficacité énergétique, en partenariat avec les habitants et les associations locales, afin d'identifier les meilleures pratiques qui aboutiront à une utilisation durable de l’énergie. Principales actions : Création d’un réseau d’ambassadeurs Climat/Energie :- Recrutement de 6 ambassadeurs Climat/Energie. - Organisation d’ateliers techniques pour les ambassadeurs Climat/Energie. Plans d’action Climat et Energie pour les Citoyens et les Communautés. - Création de plans d’action énergie et climat pour des communautés locales et les citoyens. - Audit énergétique/études de faisabilité pour les mesures d’efficacité et technologies énergétiques. - Identification des meilleures méthodes d’engagement des communautés locales ; identification des études de cas d’efficacité énergétique et d’énergie renouvelables sur le terrain. Plans d’action Climat et Energie pour les bâtiments publics et écoles. - Développement d’un programme d’ateliers, d’expositions et de matériaux pour la sensibilisation à l’énergie et au climat pour les écoles et les bâtiments publics. - Mise en place d’un audit énergétique afin d’évaluer l’efficacité des mesures. - Développement de projets scolaires transnationaux.

Description (EN):

Main objective : The SEACS project aims to promote, through the Channel area, the integrated development of energy efficiency and renewable energy, in order to reduce carbon emissions, create economic opportunities and achieve social cohesion. The project will build a cross-channel network of climate and energy ambassadors and jointly develop methods and tools adapted to the local context to empower communities to become local driving forces in implementing change in energy use. SEACS also offers to realize energy efficiency local projects, in partnership with citizens and local charities, to identify best practices leading to a sustainable energy use. Main actions : - Creation of a climate and energy ambassadors network: - Recruitment of 6 climate and energy ambassadors - Organisation of technical workshops for the ambassadors. - Climate and energy action planning for citizens and communities - Creation of climate and energy action plans for local communities and citizens - Energy auditing/feasibility studies to quantify efficiency and technologies - Identification of the best methods of community engagement; identification of case studies of energy efficiency and renewable energy in practice. - Climate and Energy Action Planning for Public Buildings and Schools - Development of a climate and energy awareness programme of workshops, exhibitions, materials for schools and public buildings - Energy auditing to evaluate the effectiveness of measures - Development of cross-border school exchanges
