Objectif général : Le projet SANGAM a pour but de favoriser les rencontres entre artistes et publics afin de valoriser les diversités culturelles et la création d’un dialogue interculturel à l’échelle européenne. Les publics concernés par ces rencontres sont les enfants, les jeunes et les adultes issus des immigrations principales de deux régions concernées par le projet : Haute-Normandie (Le Havre) et Kent (Ashford). Ces rencontres visent à favoriser : le dialogue entre les générations, la découverte de soi, la rencontre de l’autre, la promotion du respect, de la tolérance et de la curiosité envers les cultures différentes. Principales actions : - Résidence au Havre de la Compagnie Shivanova. - Résidence des artistes anglais en France. - Résidence des artistes français en Angleterre. - Résidence des musiciens français en Angleterre. - Réalisation des outils de transmission de l’expérience du projet : les outils seront mis en ligne afin de partager avec les opérateurs culturels l’expérience du projet SANGAM.

Description (EN):

Main objective : The SANGAM project aims to support encounters between artists and publics in order to enhance cultural diversity and to create an intercultural dialogue on a European scale. The project will target children, young people and adults with a migrant background and livingin Haute-Normandie (Le Havre) and Kent (Ashford). These encounters are meant to encourage a dialogue between generations, self-discovery, meeting other people, tolerance and curiosity about different cultures. Main actions : - Artist-in-residence in Le Havre with Shivanova company - Residence of British artists in France and residence of French artists in England - Residence of French musicians in England - Creation of tools to disseminate the project experience: the tools will be available online to share the SANGAM experience with cultural professions

Achievements (FR):

Principales réalisations / résultats : - Résidence au Havre de la Compagnie Shivanova : 24 ateliers de pratiques artistiques organisés ; 1 concert réunissant les artistes des deux pays et associant les enfants des ateliers mise en place et 1 atelier de sensibilisation organisé. - Résidence des artistes Anglais en France : 18 ateliers de pratiques artistiques, 1 atelier de sensibilisation et 1 concert organisés.

Main achievements : - Residency of Shivanova company in le Havre: 24 artistic performance workshops organized; organisation of a concert gathering artists from both countries and children who attended the workshops; organisation of a workshop to raise awareness. - Residency of British artists in France: organisation of18 artistic performance workshops, 1 workshop to raise awareness and 1 concert.
